Chapter 757 Taking over her bed

After saying that, she left him while massaging her shoulders with a frown. Her body first after Fu Ling put all his whole weight on her far.

She hasn’t lifted that kind of weight before, so it was uncomfortable as it was a first for her.

Ten minutes later, Xiulan appeared dressed in a set of comfy clothes and still saw Fu Ling sleeping in the same position she left him.

”Is he really asleep?” She said as she took a few steps towards him with the duvet in her hand.

Kneeling beside him, she studied his facial features, but once her gaze landed on his lips, she spent some seconds before shaking her head.

’Xiulan, you need to wake up. You can’t repeat the same mistake, what if he is not sleeping?’

She was thinking back to the last time she had tried to kiss him without knowing he was awake and had been caught red-handed.

She couldn’t let the same thing happen, because what if he decided to sue her this time around for assault?

Xiulan was truly scared of getting into trouble, as things might not end well.

Putting the duvet over his body, her eyes landed on his sneakers, making her sigh.

”What a hassle,” She said as she got down on her knees and helped him take off his shoes and socks.

”Where is the bathroom?” Fu Ling asked as he slowly opened his eyes.

Xiulan got started with him suddenly waking up and asking questions and landed on her butts.

’When did he wake up?’

”Where is our bathroom?” Fu Ling asked, more wide-awake as he tried to sit up properly with his hand over his head.

His sleep was disturbed when he felt the need to use the bathroom, which was so annoying.

Xiulan recovered from her earlier shock before showing the bathroom to him.

”Follow me,” She said as she led the way.

Fu Ling followed after her while trying to steady his steps. If his hand wasn’t on the wall to guide him, he may have fallen to the ground.

”You can go in. When you get back to the sitting room, please turn off the light, I’m going to bed. Good night.” Xiulan said before turning to face the other door, adjacent to the restroom.

”Hmm… good night.” Fu Ling replied and fixed his gaze on the restroom door before opening it and going in.

When Xiulan got back to her bedroom, she let out a deep breath while wondering if it was Fu Ling that was actually in her house.

Now, it wasn’t just that he came to visit or something, he came to spend the night in her house, something that she would never have imagined in her lifetime.

The Big boss was spending the night at her place after getting drunk.

It’s just now that she started to think of their situation properly.

”Ha! Xiulan come back to your senses!” She said to herself while pacing up and down her bedroom in a confused state.

Finally, she stopped and climbed into her bed, and turned off her lights.

It hasn’t been up to 3 minutes since she did that when the door to her bedroom slammed open, and Fu Ling’s figure appeared before her.

She almost forgot that he was in her place, and was almost scared out of her wits when he suddenly opened her door and barged in.

”Why do you get to sleep on the bed while I sleep on the couch, don’t you know how to treat your boss well in private?” Fu Ling asked with a straight face at her.

The way he stood and stared straight into her eyes didn’t look like he was still drunk. It looked like having a bathroom break had helped to clear his mind, but what was he talking about now?

Xiulan was in a confused state after his statement. Was she supposed to vacate her bed and give it to him because he was her boss?

”Why…why would I gi…give my bed to you?” Ahe stuttered.

Fu Ling took a few steps forward as he declared, “I am your boss and your career future prospect lies in my hands.”

Xiulan had to conclude that she was being bullied. Was it because of her actions in the car? Does he remember her a reaming at him, did he come for revenge?

”Are you unwilling to give out your bed for one night?” Fu Ling asked with borrowed brows.

He has checked it, and there was no way he could sleep comfortably on that couch which was too small for him.

He didn’t know how to request Xiulan to do an exchange with him, so he shamelessly resorted to this means.

Xiulan was speechless but decided to let him rest in her bedroom for one night. She was guilty of being rude to him, and given his current aura, she wasn’t sure if he heard her screaming and cursing at him.

In fact, she was very rude to him, and she hoped that he wouldn’t take it to heart even if he heard her, since she was willing to let him have her bed.

Sighing, she pulled the covers of the bed and git out of it. “Have a good night rest, Sir.” She said as she put on her flip-flops and shifted away from him.

A smirk appeared on Fu Ling’s lips as he climbed into her bed, and before she could disappear, he was already complaining.

”Why is your bed soft?”

Xiulan stopped in her tracks and turned to say to him, “The couch is actually stronger. You can still have it if you want.”

”Forget it,” Fu Ling said as he placed his head on the pillow. “Get the duvet I left in the sitting room”

Xiulan let out a sigh of relief before walking away. She felt that she was going to have a difficult time trying to please her boss.

When Xiulan returned with the thick decent and passed it to him while stretching her hand, she got pulled suddenly.
