Chapter 678 His tongue on fire

When she saw the noodle soup herself, she praised Fu Hua for cooking for her. Next, she picked up the chopsticks and started to eat.

Fu Hua sat on the bed and watched her eat the noodles as if she hasn’t eaten for days, but he couldn’t help but remind her to slow down.

”Can you take it easy, the noodles are hot and spicy?”

Jia Li sniffed and said to him, “The noodles are not spicy the way I wanted them. Next time, we will cook it together. As for the hotness, it doesn’t bother me because I want to sweat it out.”

”Are you complaining right now?” Fu Hua inquired with furrowed brows. He had given it his all in other to prepare the spicy chicken noodle soup she wanted, and here she was, complaining about it not being spicy enough.

Wouldn’t it be better if she had told him the quantity of hot pepper to add to it?

Jia Li slopped on the noodles, chewed, and swallowed them before replying, “How dare I complain when the noodles are this delicious? Thank you.”

Fu Hua didn’t disturb her anymore. He didn’t want her to talk anymore since she was eating something hot. It would be unsightly if the food entered the wrong place, or she choked on it.

Jia Li finished the big bowl of spicy chicken noodle soup and put down her chopsticks, and it was only now that she remembered to ask her husband if he had wanted some of the noodles.

”This woman, can you give your husband a break for today?” Fu Hua said and walked away.

’Is he angry with me?’ Jia Li thought to herself while drinking a glass of water. If he was angry with her, she couldn’t tell what she had done to offend him.

Jia Li thought Fu Hua had left angrily, but she only found out that he went to draw a bath for her after he came out to tell her about it.

”I have drawn a bath for you, go in. Your clothes are on the couch, and don’t forget to put on the flip-flops I put in front of the bathroom door.”

After saying that to her, he picked up the things she had used to eat and turned to walk away, but he was stopped by Jia Li’s random request for a kiss.

”Why do you want me to kiss you?” Fu Hua asked with an interesting gaze after recovering from the surprise.

Jia Li looked him in the eye and replied, “To prove that you are not angry with me.” She was done teasing him, and it’s not like she was a troublesome woman.

Sometimes, she liked to tease him, but she would never take it to the extreme. Right now, she needed to confirm that he was not fed up with her.

”Do I look angry?” Fu Hua asked with a confused gaze as he didn’t know how she came up with that conclusion.

”No long talks, just prove that you are not angry with me.” Jia Li said with pouted lips.

Fu Hua smiled to himself and went back to her side. He placed the tray back on the table and sat next to her before pulling her close to his side.

With one hand wrapped around her arm, he used the other to steady her face. Just a second glance was enough for the mood to change.

Fu Hua could perceive her scent, she smelled like spicy chicken noodle soup. ‘Would she also taste like that?’ He thought as he leaned in to nibble on her lips.

He licked them, nibbled on them, and teased her before his tongue finally made an entrance. When the long-awaited kiss came, Jia Li didn’t hold back, as she has missed his taste in her mouth. She wrapped her arms around his waist, and pulled him closer, as their tongues danced to the same tone.

Fu Hua’s method of kissing, was slow, as he was taking his time to go through every nook and cranny of her mouth, but Jia Li’s response was quick, showing her hunger for the kiss.

Seeing her hunger, Fu Hua increased his pace. He kissed her senselessly while exploring her mouth, And as his hands moved from the side of her face to her neck, he heard her moan.

’It’s time to end the kiss.’ He thought as he moved his lips to her neck and left a kiss there before letting her go.

There was an unsatisfied stare from Jia Li after losing the hot connection. She was insatiable at this moment and stared hungrily at him.

A small smile appeared on Fu Hua’s face as he said to her, “Your taste like the chicken noodle soup I prepared for you. You said it was not hot enough, but I feel that my tongue is on fire right now.”

Fu Hua was only exaggerating. While kissing Jia Li, he felt the hotness of her tongue due to the spicy soup, but it was not enough for it to burn him.

Jia Li knew he was teasing her, but she was not in the mood to be teased. She wanted something more, and so requested it.

Tugging on his shirt with pouted lips, she made her heart’s desire known. “I want more.”

”You want more?” Fu Hua asked as his lips arched in a smile. Jia Li nodded in response and continued tugging on his sleeves.

His wife’s gaze honestly spoke volumes, but he couldn’t grant her wish as he had his reasons.

”You asked for a kiss, and I gave you one, but now you want more. I’m not against it, but this is bad timing. In a few minutes, we will be called for dinner, so we can’t do it.”

Fu Hua understood what her wanting more would mean, small soft kisses would develop into quick hot ones, and from there, the rest would be history.
