Chapter 165 - The Family Find Out About Jia Lis Pregnancy

After he watched her leave, Fu Hua went back to the dining room to get her breakfast.

"What's wrong with Jia Li, is she alright?" Grandfather Fu asked with a worried gaze as soon as he saw Fu Hua.

"She's fine, she is just a little sick." Fu Hua replied as removed the trace of the egg from Jia Li's plate and put more food for her.

While doing that, someone had her gaze on him.

"Sick? Should we call the doctor over?" Grandfather asked as he became alarmed. How could his favorite person be sick and he would remain relaxed? That was not possible.

"She will be fine after she rests a little." Fu Hua replied.

"Fu Hua, why are you removing the eggs? They are healthy, and Jia Li should have some of them." Fu ChunHua suggested whilst trying to test the waters at the same time.

Fu Hua picked up the plate of food and started walking while replying, "She doesn't need them."

Before Fu Hua could disappear from their sight, Fu ChunHua quickly raised the question in her mind.

"Is Jia Li pregnant?"

That question was enough to cause silence for several seconds. It had some people having different thoughts.

Grandfather Fu was deeply surprised by the question and glanced at Fu ChunHua before gazing back at Fu Hua for an answer.

When Fu ChunHua asked that question, Fu Hee nearly spurted the food she just put in her mouth. She quickly glanced towards Fu Hua to hear his response.

Fu Hua stopped in his steps when he heard Fu ChunHua's question.

'Jia Li I'm sorry...' Fu Hua apologized to Jia Li in his mind before walking away without replying to Fu ChunHua's question.

Fi ChunHua was intelligent enough to get the message. Fu Hua didn't agree nor deny her words. And knowing Fu Hua's personality, she was sure she was right because he would have denied it if it wasn't true.

"Congratulations to you and Jia Li!" Fu ChunHua said towards the direction Fu Hua left from. Retracting her gaze, she glanced at the shocked Fu Hee with a smile.

"Fu Hee, your daughter-in-law is pregnant, are you not happy?" Fu ChunHua asked with a taunting gaze.

Fu Hee was still shocked by the news she just heard and couldn't be bothered by her words.

Grandfather Fu was surprised and quickly asked with his gaze on Fu ChunHua, "Is Jia Li really pregnant?"

"It's very likely that she is pregnant since Fu Hua did not deny it. But we will have to wait to confirm this good news from them." Fu ChunHua replied happily.

She was all smiles as if she was Jia Li's mother or Jia Li's mother-in-law. She just couldn't help smiling from ear to ear.

It might be because she knew Fu Hee wouldn't be happy with this piece of good news that she was so happy.

"Why did that boy not reply to us and just left like that leaving us to our speculation?" Grandfather Fu asked with a frown, but deep down in his heart, he was very excited.

Grandfather Fu was annoyed with Fu Hua's attitude. Such an important matter and he didn't bother to clarify it, was he trying to give him a heart attack?

Fu Hee could feel that her chest was in so much pain. She couldn't even continue with her food as she had to place her palm on her chest while trying to endure the pain.

Both Grandfather Fu and Fu Hee lost their appetite and were no longer interested in eating. But they had different reasons.

Grandfather Fu was excited about the fact that he may have a great-grandchild from Jia Li and Fu Hua, so he lost appetite because of the happiness. As for Fu Hee, she was terrified of the news and wished it was false.

She couldn't believe that Jia Li and her son had already consumed their marriage, and coupled with the fact that her plans kept getting ruined.

'That seductress!' Fu Hee cursed under her breath.

She was at the point where she wouldn't care what happens to her as long as she gets the opportunity to shred Jia Li to pieces.

Still, under excitement, Grandfather Fu said to the rest of the family at the dining table, "If this news is through, then everybody will get a gift from me."

His words were enough to cause thrills in the hearts of everyone apart from Fu Hee who was not even following.

Fu Ling who was usually quiet glanced at his grandfather with expectations. He has his dreams, and he needed just a little push for things to be on track, and this opportunity was very important to him.

With her grandfather's promise, Fu Meixu was already thinking of what her request would be, and that was to snatch the role that has already been given to, Zhi Ruo for the same movie she wanted to audition to get a supporting role.

After giving his promise, Grandfather called for Butler Lu impatiently. He wanted to go and verify the news of Jia Li's pregnancy directly from Fu Hua.

When Butler Lu came over, Grandfather Fu said to him, "We are going to see Fu Hua and Jia Li."

Butler Lu nodded and stood at the side while waiting for him to get up before they left together.

With Grandfather Fu's absence, everyone was let loose. They could say anything they wanted and act however they wanted.

Fu Lei and Fu Ming were absent because of the engagements they have outside the city, so the cage was open.

Fu ChunHua smiled as she turned to Fu Hee to say, "Fu Hee, why are you acting like this is bad news? If it is confirmed that your daughter-in-law is pregnant, this would be great news! Look at you, you're so lucky to be a grandmother at this age, I really envy you."

"Lucky my foot!" Fu He's said angrily.

Fu ChunHua chuckled in her heart as she couldn't wait to anger Fu Hee, seeing her so angry. With a smile, she said, "See, Father has already promised to give us a gift, what would you be asking for?"

Then with a shocked facial expression, Fu ChunHua added, "Don't tell me you will request Father to allow Fu Hua get married to the girl you approved as a second wife?"
