Chapter 144 - Fu Hee Is Annoyed With The Lack Of Attention From Grandfather Fu

Since Jia Li didn't have any more exams this week, she could work on her assignments freely, and Fu Hua was a great help to her.

He watched over her and made sure she used the right stitches for the right places.

Jia Li discovered that whenever Fu Hua started working, he wouldn't stop until he had accomplished something. And this few hours of him helping her out, made her discover another side of him.

Around midnight when the dress was completed, Fu Hua let Jia Li off.

"Finally! I'm so sleepy." Jia Li said as she sighed in relief. She couldn't wait for her head to hit the pillow.

"Mmm... you have tried, you can go to bed." Fu Hua said to her.

"Good night." Jia Li said before turning to leave while letting out a yawn.

'Did I overwork her?.' Fu Hua asked himself when he saw her yawn and glanced at the wall clock.

Fu Hua didn't stay long in the study, for he left a few minutes later after tidying his desk, leaving the dress they finished working on, on the mannequin.

The next day, Fu Hua didn't go straight to work. Instead, he went to supervise the renovation of the workshop in the new house.

He liked things to be to his taste, so he had to make sure the people there, were doing things right.

When he got to the small villa he saw that the work was almost completed, and according to the interior designer, he could move in the next day.

Fu Hua looked around for a bit before leaving for his office. And as soon as he stepped into his office, his assistant came to meet him.

"Boss, do you have the draft ready?." Zimo asked.

Fu Hua gave him a cold glance before pointing at his work ???? bag.

Without wasting time, Zimo opened his bag and took out the design draft. He seemed to be in a rush.

When he took the draft out and glanced at it, a smile big smile appeared on his face. He looked at Fu Hua and said, "Wow! another masterpiece, as expected from you, Boss. I will quickly send it for production now."

When Zimo was about to leave, Fu Hua said to him, "Don't come back to my office for today!."

"Ah! Boss, what did I do wrong?." Zimo stopped to ask, but a glare from Fu Hua sent him away.

When Zimo left his side, Fu Hua sighed. These days, Zimo has been urging him to design something since it has been a long time since he worked behind the scenes.

Fu Hua thought about it and decided to give it a try. But the stress of designing, caused Fu Hua to be annoyed with him.

Fu Hee sought an audience with Grandfather Fu.

Grandfather Fu was currently reading a book. He adjusted the glasses on the bridge of his nose and continued reading the book, totally ignoring Fu Hee.

It looks like Fu Hee had a lot of patience today because she has been smiling since she stepped into the study, and even with the old man ignoring her, her facial expression did not change.

Butler Lu couldn't continue watching this go on, so he came to Fu Hee's side and said to her, "Madam, what did you come to see master for?."

Butler Lu knew that the old man will not say anything to her, so she had to start talking first, and that's why he came to remind her of it.

Deep down Fu Hee's heart, she was a bit annoyed because of the lack of attention from Grandfather Fu.

Now being reminded that she has to talk while not be paid attention to, annoyed her the more.

"Father, it's been more than a month since Fu Hua moved out, as his mother, I missed him. Can you tell him to come back home to have dinner with us?"

Grandfather Fu remained nonchalant, and Fu Hee frowned before looking at Butler Lu who gave her a sign to continue talking.

'Madam, what about Jia Li, you only mentioned your son?' Butler Lu thought, and he was right.

This was the main reason Grandfather Fu ignored her. She mentioned her son coming back home, but she left her daughter-in-law out of it.

With Grandfather Fu still ignoring her, a thought came to her mind, so she added with a smile, "Father, ask Fu Hua to come back with Jia Li. With them joining us for dinner, the house will be more harmonious."

Grandfather Fu finely glanced at her as he asked, "Is this the reason you came to see me for?."

"Yes, father, Fu Hua and Jia Li should come back for a while, it's been a long time since I saw them." Fu Hee said with a fake smile.

Grandfather Fu fixed his gaze back on the book he was reading and said to her, "You can leave."

"Huh? ???? Father, will you ask them to come home?." Fu Hee asked, but she received no more responses from him.

Butler Lu had to come and send her away.

Coming out from his study, Fu Hee's true emotions were revealed.

"What's the point of ignoring me? You don't allow men to see my son, and you don't want him to come home, just see if I won't call him myself." Fu Hee said in an angry tone before walking away.

On her way to her bedroom, she met Fu ChunHua who was dressed like she was about to leave the house.

When Fu Chun Hua saw her, she smiled and walked to stand in front of her.

"What is it?." Fu Hee asked with a furious gaze.

Fu ChunHua peered into her face, before moving her face away, then she sighed and said, "tsk...tsk... Fu Hee, you are getting old now, it looks like you're becoming more stressed since you were dismissed from your position as the mistress of the Fu family"
