Chapter 143 - Jia Li Covers Her Chest And Rejects Fu Huas Help

Jia Li unconsciously touched her stomach and became lost in thought. The thought of announcing her pregnancy hasn't occurred to her yet.

As she didn't speak for a while, Fu Hua helped her out. "It's okay to take your time before we announce it to the family."

Jia Li glanced up at him and said, "Thank you!"

Her being able to announce the pregnancy when she wanted, was what she needed.

Fu Hua helped Jia Li to carry the plates to the kitchen.

After putting the plates in the sink, Jia Li turned on the kitchen tap to start washing the plates, but Fu Hua stopped her.

"You can go and have your bath, I will help you with it."

"Oh!" Jia Li replied before leaving him in the kitchen.

When she left, Fu Hua turned on the taps and started to wash the used dishes and within a few minutes, he was through.

Fu Hua opened the two pots on the table gas and saw some food remaining in them, and he didn't know what to do with them.

'I think I should call Jia Li.' Fu Hua thought before covering the pots and then he walked out of the kitchen to look for his wife.

He went into Jia Li's bedroom without knocking, but he didn't see her there.

"Is she still in the bathroom?" Fu Hua muttered under his breath before making his way towards the bathroom door.

He placed his ear in the door and listened for a while, but he didn't hear any sound, so he turned the doorknob and opened the door.

Jia Li had her eyes closed as she laid in the tub of hot water. The temperature of the water was right for cold weather ??, so Jia Li felt relaxed ???? in it.

But when she heard the door open, her eyes flew open immediately as she directed her gaze to the door, only to see Fu Hua standing there and staring at her.

The first thought in Jia Li's mind was to cover her body, but glancing at the towel that was far from her hand, she gave up that idea and remained in the bathtub.

Fu Hua narrowed his eyes as he glanced at her. And when he didn't move his gaze away after a few seconds, Jia Li frowned.

"What do I do with the food in the pots?" Fu Hua asked before Jia Li could say anything.

'Is this the reason he came to find me?' Jia Li thought, with a cautious gaze on him.

"Leave it, I will take care of it after bathing." Jia Li replied.

Fu Hua nodded in understanding but remained standing there with no sign of leaving. Jia Li frowned and couldn't help but to ask, "When do you plan on leaving?"

"Soon. But why are you lying there, and not coming out, do you need my help?" Fu Hua asked with a frown as he started to take a few steps towards her.

"Ah! Fu Hua! Don't come over!" Jia Li screamed at him with fear written all over her face.

Fu Hua who was walking towards her with a frown stopped in his steps and started laughing. It turned out that he was teasing her.

"There is no need to ask me to leave, I can see everything from the clear water, just let me help you." Fu Hua revealed with a smile.

Jia Li covered her chest and crossed her legs when she discovered he could see her naked body from there.

"I don't need your help, go away!" Jia Li said angrily.

"You are now rejecting your husband's help? You are also talking to me that way? Jia Li, since when did you become so comfortable with me?" Fu Hua asked with a slight smile on his face.

His last question, caused Jia Li to be tongue-tied.

'That's right, since when did I get comfortable with him?' Jia Li thought and the next moment, she looked up, she saw Fu Hua's face up-close.

She was about to scream when her lips were completely blocked by his lips.

This was a trick of Fu Hua. He caused her to be distracted, so he could reach her side without alarming her and now, he also took the opportunity to kiss her to his satisfaction.

He really like the fact that she couldn't defend him, since she was covering her chest with her hands, so she could only let him kiss her.

Fu Hua took his time kissing her lips. He had his eyes closed as he explored her mouth with his tongue.

The kiss was so heated that Jia Li had to shut her eyes as well. Right now, she would prefer him kissing her than seeing her naked body.

Fu Hua only stopped when he felt the water she was lying in, was getting cold.

He released her lips and slowly opened his eyes to look into her eyes.

As their eyes met, Jia Li felt shy seeing his heated gaze on her and looked away.

"The temperature of the water is reducing, don't catch a cold." Fu Hua left her with that sentence before leaving the bathroom.

Jia Li sighed in relief when he left. Then thinking back to his actions of opening the door without knocking, she scolded herself for always forgetting to lock it.

She was already used to staying alone without locking the door because she was 100% sure no one will come without knocking. But she forgot that Fu Hua was different.

He was now her husband, and this was his house, so he wasn't used to knocking before opening the door to any room.

Fu Hua had a smile on his face when he left Jia Li's bedroom. It was so fun to tease her and he enjoyed every bit of it.

A few minutes later, Jia Li came out of her bedroom and went straight to the kitchen to take care of the remaining food in the pots and washed everything off and tidied the kitchen.
