"Come on, brother Yifeng. Besides, mom would love to see you here."

"Jing Wanru is there?" Lu Yifeng asked.

"Yup. When I told her that you were here, she headed straight here from Florence. She's excited to meet you."

Lu Yifeng sighed heavily. He looked at his wrist watch, since he doesn't have anything else to do right now, he doesn't mind having his dinner in Nian Jiezhen's place. "Okay. I'll be there by eight."

"Really?! Great! You're the best, Yifeng!"

Cold beads of sweat started forming on Su Lei's forehead when he heard what Lu Yifeng said.

"Zi Lin, turn the car around. Head to Nian Jie-"

"Boss!" Su Lei quickly cut him off. "I received a message from Madam. She said that she sent you a package, have you received it?" Su Lei hurriedly asked.

Lu Yifeng furrowed his brows, Xia Meilin didn't message him about anything concerning that. "A package?"

"Yes. She was worried that she might disturb you if she directly messaged you about it so she told me instead. I asked the hotel staff if the package arrived and they said that it did." The words smoothly went out of Su Lei's mouth and because of this, Lu Yifeng believed him.

"Zi Lin, to the hotel."

"Yes sir."

"Ah, madam also said not to forget to call her once you receive the package."

"Mm." What kind of gift did Xia Meilin sent him? Lu Yifeng couldn't help but wonder. Since he was close by the hotel he was staying, it was better if he took the package first before he heads off to Nian Jiezhen's place.

Su Lei couldn't help but let out a sigh in relief when he managed to change his boss' mind. At least he was able to save his boss from his wife's wrath.

Xia Meilin received a message from Su Lei that Lu Yifeng was on his way to the room that's why she waited patiently in the bathroom with Little Melon.

Xia Meilin straightened her back. She slightly opened the bathroom's door to peek. Little Melon couldn't help but peek too since he was excited to see his father and give him a surprise.

Lu Yifeng started looking around the suite, searching for the package that Xia Meilin sent. When he didn't saw anything in the living room, he went to the kitchen and found nothing.

He frowned when he couldn't see any package. Did the staff misplaced it?

Just then, he noticed that his bedroom's door was opened. He narrowed his eyes since he was sure he closed it when he left. Lu Yifeng was a neat freak so made sure everything was at place when he left, because of this, he remembered every position of the items in his suite.

He entered his room and saw it empty. He took his phone out of his pocket and was about to give Su Lei a call when his eyes suddenly fell on his messy bed, it was as if someone jumped on it.

Because of this, Lu Yifeng's guards went up. He held the gun that was hidden in his coat just in case if someone suddenly jumped out to attack him. He looked around to see if there were other things that were out of place. He saw his closet slightly opened and because of this, he pointed his gun towards it.

He carefully approached his closet and opened it in an instant to look if anyone was hiding there, he saw no one. He heaved out a sigh of relief. He was about to close it when he suddenly realized something... there were women's clothing inside the closet. Aside from that, there was some small clothes for kids.

Lu Yifeng's eyes went wide in realization when he saw these.

"Darling, you should put your gun away."

Upon hearing the familiar soft and gentle voice of a woman, Lu Yifeng quickly turned to look at the owner of that voice.

"Surprise!" Little Melon exclaimed with a grin, his hands in the air.

Xia Meilin had her arms crossed, she was looking at him with an amused smile. "Well? Are you just going to stand there?"

Lu Yifeng never expected to see them there, that's why he was looking at them in surprise. His cold eyes became gentle as he continued staring at them. He kept his gun before he walked towards them.

"Dada, hug!" Little Melon grinned while reaching out his hands to him.

Lu Yifeng bent and scooped him up in his arms. "What are you two doing here?"

"We missed you!" Little Melon said with a wide grin as he hugged his father by his neck.

"I have a lot of free time, so I just thought that Italy is a beautiful place to visit, a new environment will be good for our kids." Xia Meilin walked towards him and gave him a hug.

Lu Yifeng wrapped his arm around her shoulder and gave her a kiss on her forehead. "If I knew this would happen, I should have just brought you with me in the first place."

"Well, we don't know that. But let's not think about that. We're starving, let's go eat outside, your treat."

"Yes! Mello wants to taste an Italian food!" Little Melon said excitedly.

Speaking of dinner, Lu Yifeng suddenly remembered something. "My aunt invited me to have dinner in her place, do you want to go?"

Little Melon's eyes sparkled in delight. "Dada's auntie is here?"

"Mm." Lu Yifeng nodded before he stared at Xia Meilin, waiting for her response.

Xia Meilin smiled happily at him. "I would love to meet her. It would be nice to know someone here. We should pass by somewhere to buy her a gift. It won't be nice if we won't give her anything when we visit her tonight."
