“Tell me what happened. Don’t miss a single detail.”

Shi Man looked serious. The organizations in the novel which might have done this kept flashing through her mind without stopping for a second.

“Boss, it’s like this. Yesterday, we received a mission with an extremely high bounty. It was to find rare medicinal herbs for the leader of an organization. Brother Sean said that that thing is in the territory of G City and it’s not difficult to obtain it. We thought that we could come and see you on the way, so we rushed back overnight. Unexpectedly, as soon as we arrived in G City, a group of people rushed up like crazy to capture him. After taking Brother Sean away, they only left a note saying that you should go over personally to ask for him. Otherwise, they’ll kill him.”

“Boss.” The mercenary pulled a long face and wiped his tears guiltily. “If they hadn’t asked you to go personally, we wouldn’t have dared to alarm you no matter what.”

“Got it.” Shi Man frowned speechlessly and said angrily, “Why are you crying? Since they want me to go over, Sean is at least safe now. Where’s the note?”

The rusty iron door slowly opened with a creaking sound. The darkness in front of her extended into the unseen depths. Only when the weak moonlight shone in could a few figures inside be vaguely seen.

“Dodge.” Shi Man raised her hand and pushed the mercenary away. The two of them swayed and quickly disappeared from the door. Bullets that were like a storm brushed past their clothes and shot out of the door.

“Boss! Leave!” Sean used all his strength to spit out the blood-stained rag in his mouth and shouted at the door at the top of his lungs.

When he fought with these people just now, he had already experienced their techniques.

That was not something that ordinary mercenaries could compare to. When Shi Man brought only one person over, it was no different from courting death.

In the depths of the darkness, a man wearing a mask looked down coldly at Sean, who was like an ant on the ground. He raised his leg and repeatedly crushed Sean’s weak fingers. Sean’s face was twisted in pain, and he could not say a word.

“Alright.” The mercenary was so frightened by that shot that he broke out in cold sweat. He immediately calmed down and sighed in his heart. He had been too rash and almost lost his life for nothing.

Shi Man loaded the gun and held it in her hand. She carefully identified the positions of the people inside. While the other party was shooting, she stood at the door and fired decisively.

The man sneered and curled his lips. He slid the chair to the other side and nimbly avoided the bullet. Then, he clapped his hands to stop his men. “Immaculate? Good name. I just wanted to see who it was who gave the Azure Dragon Gang such a refined name. I didn’t mean to offend you. Please forgive me.”

“By offense, do you mean kidnapping my people and severely injuring him?” Shi Man walked into the darkness under the moonlight. Her crisp voice sounded ethereal in the empty factory building, carrying an indescribable pressure.

“It’s the people below who are insensible and misunderstood. I just wanted to see you.” The man waved his hand to make the people beside him retreat. He walked up to her. “I didn’t expect Immaculate’s new boss to be a little girl.”

Shi Man ignored the ridicule in his words and snorted coldly. Her gaze landed on Sean as she aimed the silver gun in her hand at his subordinates. “Let my men go. Otherwise, I’ll accept the lives around you on your behalf.”
