55 Something Happened

At night, when the entire Shi family was celebrating Shi Man’s achievement, only Shi Jing hid in her room and refused to come out.

After locking the door, she changed into her night clothes which made it easier for her to move. She then took out her gun and dagger from the box and brought them with her. She raised her hand to open the window and jumped out of the Shi family’s house from the tree by the balcony.

In the alley, one of the mercenaries knelt in front of Shi Man with tears and snot all over his face. “Boss, quickly save Brother Sean! He’s been taken away!”

Shi Man’s eyes turned cold. She grabbed the man’s collar and pulled him up from the ground. She said coldly, “Let’s talk as we walk.”

The last time they met in Nightless City, Immaculate’s mercenaries in City G had all returned to City M to complete missions.
