Bo Jinchuan’s low rumble sounded, and he suddenly bent and bit her lips.

Shen Fanxing blinked at him. The viciousness and fire in the man’s voice made her panic.

She had a feeling that if the time really came, she might really die a few times.

“I’m going to take a shower.”

After calming down, Shen Fanxing pulled away from him and looked into the man’s eyes meekly.

The moment she got up, Bo Jinchuan grabbed her wrist again. His low and hoarse voice made her heart tremble uncontrollably.

She hesitated before nodding.

“Go on, put on my clothes,” said Bo Jinchuan with a smirk. He walked to the wardrobe and stuffed a shirt into her arms.

“This…” Shen Fanxing looked at the shirt in her hand and hesitated.

“Why?”

Bo Jinchuan lowered his gaze to look at her. His eyes were gleaming and his voice was hoarse. The look on his face seemed as though he would pounce on her any time. She shook her head.

“I’m fine.”

Blushing, she walked into the bathroom as she hugged the shirt to her chest.

After showering and washing her hair, she picked up Bo Jinchuan’s shirt and put it on.

Initially, she was worried that the shirt wouldn’t cover her properly.

But looking at her reflection, she saw that the shirt had covered her thighs. She had worried too much.

For a woman, she wasn’t considered petite. She didn’t expect that a man’s shirt would be this big on her.

The bathroom door opened and Shen Fanxing walked out, and her hair was dripping.

Bo Jinchuan looked up slowly as he sat on the couch. He placed his laptop aside as his dark gaze trailed towards her. He watched the way she walked to the bed with his shirt on. She then sat down on his bed before she dried her hair. Her fair and slender legs were pressed tightly together. She didn’t move her body at all, but her movements were captivating.

He could smell that she had used his shower gel. But when she used it, a different refreshing scent wafted into his nose along with the unique scent of a woman.

He stood up and the atmosphere in the room changed instantly.

He took the towel from her and rubbed her hair.

“Sleep here tonight, okay?”

Shen Fanxing clenched her fists and looked up at him. Their gazes met and her eyes resembled thousands of lovely stars reflected on the lake’s surface.

She blinked gently and nodded quietly. “Okay.”
