After looking at the numbers, Mother Gu waivered.

Partly because she needed money right now and partly because she had learned that the stock price of the company that Gu Jiangxin had spent most of his life on had plummeted. She realized that there was no guarantee in managing a company.

After weighting all the pros and cons, she asked for addition two-story house within the Second Ring Road and finally agreed to the transfer of her share of stocks.

This was probably the best option for her.

She would spend ¼ of her assets in the development of her pre-school, half of them in investment in the housing market, and the remaining cash saved in the bank.

Her Big Brother was right. She had enough to support her for the rest of her life with just the interest and returns from her housing investment.

“Big Brother, I want to take a trip to City Shun.”

Now that she had received her portion of the inheritance, her little bank filled, and her feeling more secured than any other time, Mother Gu was in a good mood and was much friendlier toward her Big Brother.

Zhang Sheng, on the other hand, had been much colder to her than any other time.

With nothing better to do, rich housewives loved gossiping about topics like this.

Everybody had been telling her how unfilial her daughter had been. But that was only because she had been too far away from her daughter.

Once she got back and be around every day, her daughter would have plenty of opportunity to be filial to her!

She dreamed about Wushuang refusing to take care of her when she got old and just left her there by herself in capital city!

She would not be able to quell her worries until she returned to City Shun!

She needed to go back to find out what had been going on with Wushuang.
