Chapter 1082 Futuristic City Part 1

A foot swayed over the edge of a building that reached high up into the clouds above, stopping just below the boundary between planet and space. That foot was connected to a young woman who did not look like she normally did. She was currently under a disguise to fit in with this world. Yes, she was not from this world. In fact, she was not from this universe at all. She now belonged to a realm called Aurora. Her white hair swayed in the breeze as she looked over the cityscape that covered the entire planet. "To think I would end up on a world like this…."

The girl stretched her arms as she slowly stood up, standing on the very edge of the roof she was on. Flying cars passed by down below, but none came up to the height she was at. She took a step forward and stood on air as she walked across it, as if it was a flat surface like the rooftop she was on before. 

As she made her way to the next building she took in how the people of this world seemed to be living. "Very similar to earth. From looks to how they built up their society. But then again many human type societies all seem to grow in the same fashion if there is no magic."

The girl stepped onto the next rooftop and walked over to the door that was there and turned the knob. At first, it was locked until the girl tapped the door, and a clicking sound was heard. With a twist of the knob, the girl walked into the stairwell that led down.

She walked down one floor before entering the first door she came upon. The people in the hallway looked at her strangely. They had on suits and fancy dresses as if they were some higher class people, but the girl ignored their stares as she made her way to the elevator. She pressed the button and stood there waiting for it to arrive.

"You! Who are you!?" A man wearing what looked like riot gear walked over with a gun pointing at the girl.

But even after being yelled at, the girl still did not answer. She did not seem to realize that she was the one being spoken to. The man wearing the riot gear seemed to grow angry after being ignored. "Hey, you! Girl! Who are you!?"

The girl still did not turn around. She seemed to be in her own world. In fact, she was in her own little world because she was thinking of what kind of meat she could find in this world to eat. She hoped it was not the kind of meat that was grown in some lab somewhere. And if it was she did hope it was at least tasty in some way.

"I said hey girl!" The man in the swat gear took a few steps forward and reached out to grab the girl's shoulder, but before he could even touch a thread on her shirt, his wrist was caught, and all he saw was the doors of the hall passing by him at an extremely fast speed. All the way until he crashed head first into the wall!

"Ahh!" Someone screamed out, causing the girl to turn and look. When she saw the man stuck in the wall, she wondered what had happened.

ραпdαn૦νel "Some kind of hobby?" The girl pursed her lips and stepped into the elevator that had just arrived on her floor. She did not seem to realize that she was the cause of the man's plight in the wall of the hallway.

The panel for the elevator showed almost a thousand floors. The girl pressed the key that was numbered one and leaned against the wall. She wondered why, if they had flying cars, do they not have a more futuristic way of going back and forth in a building with so many floors. She found it quite inefficient unless this building was just poor. 

But she soon found out the ride was not as long as she thought. In fact, it moved so quickly that she did not even realize it until the doors opened a few minutes later. The ride was smooth, and you did not feel like you were moving at all.

As she stepped out into the hall, more men with swat type gear on surrounded the elevator pointing guns at her. The girl did not even flinch as she walked forward. Her bare feet lightly tapped the tiled floor as she walked. "Stay where you are, or we will shoot!"

The girl sighed as she stuffed her hands in her pockets and took another step forward. Then another. She kept walking until someone finally let out a warning shot. The girl stopped and looked at the man pointing his gun into the air. He looked at the girl and said: "Stay where you are. You broke into private property, so until the police arrive, you can not move from this place."

"Then give me meat!" The girl yelled out. She did not care if she had to stick around for a while. But she wanted meat!

"Huh? What do you mean? Why would we give you meat!?" The man asked, he was starting to get a headache.

"Then I will not stay. You people are overreacting to someone who only wanted to leave the building. I mean, do you all point guns at girls? Is this how you try to date them? You point your gun at them and say: darling, hold your hands up, let daddy arrest you? I mean, everyone has their kinks, but this is just a bit…. I mean, there are so many of you too. I know I am beautiful, but sorry I already have a Handsome Husband. And without further ado, I will be leaving now." After rattling off a bunch of words, the girl walked right past the dumbfounded me in swat gear and out the door as if everything behind her had nothing to do with her.
