Due to it being sealed with a giant boulder, the shape of this area was exceptionally difficult to spot, which explains why none of Ling Yue’s party could locate this place before.

Turns out the ruins they’ve been searching for the entire time was so close, just that the landscape had been changed since the day A’bone last visited.

It was half a day later when the girls finally saw the three men come out of the cave again.

For Ling Yue herself, this hieroglyphic text was no different from a bunch of mishmash characters, but for A’bone though, this was perfectly readable due to her remaining powers. “Found it, this is what Chen Minzhi used to deprive me of my inheritance!”

This secret method went like this: In order to forcibly rip the inheritance from an heir, one must first retrieve the personal belonging of that person like a strand of hair, saliva, or blood even. Then through the transfusion of two alchemists working in tandem to host a ritual, it would then transfer the powers to the new host after seven days.

As the sky got darker with each passing minute, the light within the cave too was also growing dimmer. Then just when they were ready to bring out a torch to keep searching, a strange noise from the outside had caught their ears. It sounded like a lot of something was rolling downwards.
