Chapter 304: Supreme Leader Of The Ones Who Are Hiding In The Dark.

Abyss slowly opened his eyes, which had a tinge of old age. He was sitting alone in his room in Fang's Martial Arts School.

There was a wooden desk in front of him, which was completely empty.

The room was colored on a hue of yellow, coming from the lamp, which was hanging from the ceiling.

There was a separate room, which was a bathroom, which consisted of a sink, toilet, shower, and bathtub.

*Tap* *Tap*

Abyss' index finger kept tapping the wooden desk; it was only sound coming in the room, except a calm breathing noise coming from him.

The sun went down a long time ago, and moon was already high in the sky.

''Sigh…'' He opened a cabinet and took a bottle of whiskey, and poured it into a glass cup.

His lips contacted the glass cup, and the liquid started pouring down on his throat. He emptied it with a single gulp and put the cup down to the desk.

Slowly, his powerful eyes started weakening in strength.

''Time has come…'' Abyss looked outside the window towards the glorious moon and asked with a defeated look, ''Why? I spent all my life just to get all my hard work to get taken out.'' He grabbed his armrest and used it to stand.

His muscular and tall body started looking weaker with each passing moment.

Dropping down to his knees, he knew it was time, ''What is the point of living… If this is the result of all hard work…'' Grabbing the glass cup tighter, he crushed it into thousand of small pieces.

''Ugh!'' He grabbed his chest tightly, and a flicker of lightning appeared on his veins until it disappeared.

''No… My Divinity!'' He screamed, but nothing helped as the divinity… Has left him!

''For so long… I spent so long… And for what!'' Abyss grabbed his left arm, and a certain thought appeared on his mind, ''What is the point of living…'' His hand started approaching his throat, but before he could touch it, a knocking sound came.

*Knock* *Knock*

''Can I come in?'' It was Ichiro's voice.

Abyss's hand stopped moving as he stood up and said, ''Yes, come in.'' He sat back down on his seat and hid the whiskey bottle.

*Creak*

A black-haired young man appeared and entered the room. He closed the door behind him and sat down on Abyss' bed.

''What is it?'' Abyss asked and kept tapping the wooden desk with his index finger.

Ichiro didn't answer; instead, he looked at the floor, where the broken glass was littered around. He saw the look on Abyss' face, and he had only once seen that look before.

It was the same look he once had when he looked at the mirror.

''I have a question.'' He suddenly said.

''Hmm, what is it?'' Abyss asked and rubbed his eyes, feeling sleepy all of a sudden.

''You and Alena, you two… Weren't married, right?''

''Sigh…'' Abyss shook his head, ''No… We were together at one point, but it was mostly because of Azura and Aether. We wanted them to have a normal childhood, but then I left… Because of the Government.'' He shook his head and wanted to go beat them up, but now with his Divinity gone, he can't fight against the whole Government with his Martial God strength.

And, Government knew that he was getting weaker.

Why should they be afraid of a man who keeps getting weaker each passing day? If they knew he lost his Divinity, it wouldn't be a surprise if they stole all his money as well.

''What about now… You two close?'' Ichiro asked.

Abyss frowned and wondered why he was asking such weird questions, ''No… We are friends, and… I don't think she wants to be with me anymore. I left all of a sudden after all and took Aether with me.''

''What about your relationship with Azura?'' Ichiro asked and saw Abyss' face, which emitted his suicidal thoughts started becoming clearer.

A small smile appeared on Abyss' face as he remembered Azura's face and remembered times when she was only a baby.

''She used to be the cutest baby in the world… And, now she is beautiful, like her mother… But, certain someone stole my baby girl from me!'' He grudgingly looked at Ichiro but then chuckled, ''Well… At least she didn't start date someone good-for-nothing piece of sh*t.''

''Thanks?'' Ichiro thought that it might have been a compliment.

Abyss' suicidal thoughts disappeared, and he couldn't believe that he actually doing something so insane.

Even though it saddened that he lost his strength, it wasn't to the extent that he would kill himself.

He slowly stood up and patted Ichiro's shoulder, ''Take care of Azura, she is still young and innocent, but… I am sure she didn't choose her future husband wrongly.''

''Thanks…'' Ichiro said and saw Abyss grabbing the hidden whiskey bottle. Taking a look at it once more, he put it in the garbage can.

''Alcohol is nothing but trouble…'' He murmured and took a picture from his pocket. It was a picture of Baby Azura; he gently rubbed the picture and put it in his pocket, located in a jacket, next to his heart.

Ichiro stood up and was about to say farewells as he started getting sleepy, but then…

Abyss widened his eyes and pulled Ichiro from the collar.

Ichiro widened his eyes and was suddenly covered in Abyss' embrace as a large explosion happened around them!

*BOOM!*

The room was exploded into a fiery storm, and the smoke cloud reached all the way to the dark sky.

Everyone in Fang's Martial Arts School woke up urgently and saw one of the rooms being in flames!

''Cough!'' Ichiro coughed out painfully and was dragged by Abyss out of the flames.

Abyss' face was dirtied, and his lungs were full of smoke, but he ignored it and put Ichiro gently on the courtyard's ground to lie down.

''W-What happened?'' Ichiro asked and bursted into a coughing fit.

Abyss narrowed his eyes and turned his head towards his room which was on flames.

In the sky…

Hundreds of individuals were floating with some kind of clouds beneath their feet.

''Hehe… It is time.'' An old man with hunched back said creepily. He looked like he was in his 80s, but still, the strength erupting from him couldn't be coming from someone so old; he turned his head towards the man next to him and said, ''Adamas, you will witness history today.''

The man next to him was a ruthless-looking individual with his left ear missing and a messy-looking haircut with an athletic body. His name is Adamas, and he was the one who suffered a crushing defeat in the hands of Mars, and since that day… He has sworn to defeat him!

''Today will be the day when… The Ones Who Are Hiding In The Dark will kill Humanity's Hope, Abyss Nightside!'' The old man, also known as Xenor, shouted with excitement filling his old look; he turned around to see a tall figure with bloody robes floating with terrifying momentum.

''Supreme Leader, give us your orders… We will give Abyss' head for you.''

Supreme Leader was a man with short red hair and bloody robes. He was quite tall, around 250cm, with a body filled with explosive muscles and strength.

''No… Abyss is mine. Today is the day when… War will start, and the beginning of the war will start with the death of Abyss!'' Supreme Leader's words caused the members of The Ones Who Are Hiding In The Dark to have massive grins on their disgusting faces.
