Chapter 102 - Devilishly Handsome

After wearing the dress, Chen Yi put on the jewelry and the mask that went in correspondence with the dress in the set. Chen Yi could not be more grateful when she found the heels were not hauntingly high. The dress was already heavy; with high heels, the party would have been a sweet memorable nightmare for her.

Chen Yi did not have much experience with heels. But a couple of experiences she had in the past were more than enough to teach her thoroughly how painful a high heel could be.

Thankfully, she was already attractively tall, a few inches over the average. Thus she never felt the need for a pair of heels.

If there was any lacking then it was complemented by the top-notch stylist Li Luxian had hired. After Chen Yi was done with her hair and makeup, she searched around in the condo for Li Luxian.

After dropping her off to the stylist, he had vanished.

She wanted to discuss how she was supposed to behave and how much she was allowed to let out in the event. She discerned a figure standing at the entrance of the lounge, he had a phone up to his ear.

As Chen Yi walked up to him, she saw him putting down his phone and turning around, probably after sensing her. The second he faced her, Chen Yi almost tumbled down over her feet.

She was not prepared for this!

She was definitely not prepared to see a devilishly handsome man out in his full bloom!

She had been so busy preparing for the party that it never occurred to her that her overly handsome husband had to dress up too. And when an already handsome man dressed himself, he could simply devastate heavens, ah!

And with that dark mask over his face, the way he looked...

"Why is your face burning?" Li Luxian asked in confusion. 

"N-Nothing."  Chen Yi tried to look everywhere but at his face

Li Luxian leaned back, slowly taking in Chen Yi's appearance shifting his gaze from her face to her chest, down to her legs. In the end, with a smirk, he commented. "You look ravishing." 

"T-Thank you." Chen Yi looked down, unable to hide her nervousness.

A sexy smirk formed over his lips as he walked forward. As the distance between them reduced, Chen Yi felt like screaming like a high schooler. 

Only stopping a few inches away from her, he leaned in, bending slightly due to his tall height to bring his lips right beside her ear; his finger gently tugged a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "You know, " he whispered. "The way you look now, I want to ditch the party, carry you in my arms, and take you right to the bedroom."

The last thing she wanted was to be flirted with so ruthlessly when that man already looked so devilishly irresistible. Her head jerked upward, her gaze locking firmly with his impish eyes; she found herself under a spell.

"We are getting late, let's move." Like a fresh bird caught in a cage, Chen Yi was desperate to flee out of this heart-throbbing situation. 

But Li Luxian quickly put his hand over her back, steadily holding her in place, preventing her escape. "Think of all the things we could do." He continued with his teasing. Under his mask, his eyes peeked with a devilish spark in them. "Just say a single word and I swear, I will discard everything and carry you right into the room. I will have you scream in pleasure all night long."

God!

Please God, what sins I have committed to deserve this?

Chen Yi didn't know whether to laugh or to cry.

Her breath hitched. Li Luxian words had roused those deep-buried, forbidden desires; her once upon a time innocent mind was being tortured by those depraved thoughts. 

"Li Luxian, you better back out now." She warned. Or else, she might end up doing exactly what he wanted.

Thankfully, he grasped the warning in her tone. 

But he did not leave without launching another attack on her poor, fragile heart. 

"Fine, I'll back out for now. But tonight, after the party, I am going to have you beg for me, sweetheart."

A shiny black limousine led to the venue of the party. Chen Yi sat silently as she struggled to recover from the attack of Li Luxian's recent teasing. Her heart was still throbbing; her thoughts continued to wander to the implications of his words.

What did he mean tonight? Did he plan on doing something? The way he looked, so devilishly handsome..if...he...really decided to do something...then...

No!

That pervert was corrupting her innocent mind. Chen Yi repeatedly shook her head to get rid of those perverse thoughts.

"What's wrong?" Li Luxian asked from her side after observing her aberrant behavior. He had been noticing her for quite some time. Some times, her face was red. Some times, her face was pale. Was it because of his words? He could not help but wonder if he went too far.

While he wondered that to himself, Chen Yi felt herself being engulfed in a new wave of anger.

What's wrong? 

How dare he ask her 'What's wrong' after personally sending her mind into the depths of Hell?

How dare he innocently ask what's wrong when he is the culprit behind everything?

Chen Yi glared at him before looking away angrily, glancing out from the windshield in defiance.

Li Luxian was confused. He sighed. "Look at me."

She did not.

"YiYi, don't make me come for you."

Chen Yi snapped her head in his direction, but not because he threatened her but because—"What did you call me?"

"Yiyi?" Li Luxian looked intrigued. "You do not like it?"

"Absolutely not!" Chen Yi pouted before glaring at him. "Do not call me that again."

"What's wrong with that name?" 

"I don't like it. That's enough of a reason."

"The reason you give me tempts me even more to call you Yiyi.." He grinned at her cheekily.
