Chapter 277 – Xiong Gang

“You better have the strength to back that up.”

Yang Tian would never hold back on retaliating a pair of barking dogs.

Violent Corpse Worm Queen suddenly shot a Mental Pierce and cause the unprepared metahuman to vomit a mouth of blood.

“Stop howling if your body is weak, can’t you learn from the other mutts?”

The mutts mentioned were naturally aimed at the other two metahumans on the sofa, the servants beside them nearly charged out in reaction, but they froze and did not dare to move when they saw Lei Xing leaning his Rank 3 Energy Blaster on his shoulders.

“This… this is…” one of the metahumans on the sofa said stiffly.

They were at most High Rank 3, Lei Xing alone would be able to deal with all of them. Once they noticed the gap in power between themselves and Yang Tian, they quickly stopped their arrogant attitudes and tucked their tails.

“That is why I did not kill you. Get lost and go to the back, not anyone can sit beside me.”

“Yes… yes.”

They had no choice but to move away, the Rank 3 Energy Blaster on Lei Xing’s shoulders was applying great stress on them. Lei Xing watched them get scrambled to the back of the meeting room before he kept the Energy Blaster. 

“Lei Xing.”

“Yes, Boss?”

Lei Xing resumed his usual way of calling Yang Tian during the journey.

“Take the fruits from the seats and put it on my table.”

“Okay.”

There was a tray of fruits on both sides of each sofa. Lei Xing brought the eighteen trays and placed it on the two tables beside Yang Tian. Combined with what Yang Tian originally had, he now has twenty trays of fruits.

“Boss, is this okay?”

Lei Xing looked at the nine spots that were devoid of fruits now and looked at Yang Tian’s table that was covered in fruits. Even if Lei Xing was thick skin, he still found it embarrassing. Unfortunately, Yang Tian’s skin was even thicker than Lei Xing’s and did not find anything wrong with it and started eating the fruits, taking huge bites.

“What’s wrong with it? I have not eaten such stuff for a long time, try one as well!”

Yang Tian tossed an apple to Lei Xing, the latter did not hold back and started munching as well. The three people that were driven away earlier were now regretting, they should have eaten something earlier as well.

They tried to put on a front to show that their respective organizations possessed rich resources and did not lack such food; that was why they did not touch the fruits on the table. When they saw Yang Tian happily enjoying the fruits, they felt great regrets.

The door leading to the meeting room opened, the ones entering was Ji Tian Luo and Jiang Lie who Yang Tian left behind. Ji Tian Luo was a member of the military and did not require a seat, while Jiang Lie made himself comfortable and sat in one of the ten sofas.

Jiang Lie looked at Yang Tian and saw that his tables were full of fruits, yet his own tables and the ones in the other eight spots were empty.

He immediately knew that it was Yang Tian’s actions.

“Why? Do you want to eat as well? I can give you one.”

Yang Tian noticed Jiang Lie’s gaze and tossed a tray of fruits to Jiang Lie’s table. However, how could Jiang Lie eat it now? Jiang Lie decided to ignore Yang Tian.

Ji Tian Luo also knew what Yang Tian has done because she was the one that ordered the fruits to be placed beside the sofas.

“You…”

Ji Tian Luo pointed her slender, fair finger at Yang Tian, and was at a loss of words.

“You want to eat as well? But I am not giving you.”

Yang Tian played with the apple in his hand and made fun of Ji Tian Luo.

Ji Tian Luo blushed for a split second, but it was due to being angry at Yang Tian. Jiang Lie saw that the woman he liked was being made fun of and was about to stand up to fight Yang Tian when the door to the meeting room opened.

An extremely brawny man entered, behind him, was an extremely alluring woman. When she saw the arrangements of the seats within the room, the woman whispered to the man, and the latter went straight to one of the sofas to sit down without hesitation.

“Brother, try this pineapple.”

The moment he sat down on a sofa, Yang Tian tossed a pineapple to the brawny man.

The man looked at Yang Tian, this was the first time since the Post-Apocalyptic Era that someone gave him food as a gift. He caught the pineapple and clasped his fist at Yang Tian:

“This one is called Xiong Gang, thank you… for the pineapple, Brother.”

Xiong Gang saw that Yang TIan’s table was full of fruits and was shocked inwardly. He sighed at the fact that such a magnanimous person still exists within the Post-Apocalyptic Era.

Ji Tian Luo’s anger surged again when she saw Xiong Gang’s shocked expression; the fruit had been specially arranged by the military, yet it now looked as though Yang Tian was giving them away out of goodwill.

After receiving the pineapple, Xiong Gang’s opinion of Yang Tian greatly increased.

After that, more metahumans slowly arrived, and all of them sat on the sofas, but Yang Tian only gave fruits to the ones that were strong enough in his eyes.

Of the seven that arrived, only five were given fruits, the remaining three have constantly been switching owners.

Yang Tian’s strength was now Rank 4, those that could catch his attention must be Rank 4 or above as well. There were now seven Rank 4 individuals including Yang Tian now, the ones that got fruit from Yang Tian all developed favorable opinions towards him. As the remaining three sofas were taken by Peak Rank 3s, they did not receive any fruits from Yang Tian.

When the three saw that Yang Tian had so many fruits but did not give any to them, they knew that Yang Tian was looking down on them.

“Brat, are you looking down on the three of us? Why did you give the rest fruits but not to us.”

One of the three metahumans spoke out, he used his wording to pull in the other two onto the same boat as him as he shouted at Yang Tian.

“Yes, I am, of course, looking down on you three, you know about it, yet you still voiced it out?” Yang Tian returned a smile of ridicule.

Ji Tian Luo displaying an unhappy expression when she heard the question. It was her idea to place fruits, why did it become Yang Tian’s food?

“You…”

The three metahumans were instantly enraged and were about to make a move on Yang Tian together.

“Brother Yang Tian looked down on you because you guys deserved to be looked down upon.”

Xiong Gang stood up and said while emitting his energy as a Rank 4 metahuman. This caused the three metahumans to instantly lose their fighting will and they dared not speak another word.

“Thank you for your help.”

Yang Tian tossed two pears to Xiong Gang again, who did not hesitate to accept them as well.
