Chapter 371 - New Friends?

"Mark, Merlin, Garo, Michael..."

"Michael, are you here? Please raise your hand"

The students who got their names called out raised their hands, and the teacher who's a woman kept calling out Michael's name.

"Is he absent again? He already didn't attend last week's classes. Does this student have no plans of coming at all!?"

The teacher felt frustrated at this student who didn't even attend the first week classes, but in the end, she just sighed helplessly.

"Ma-"

Slide! Thud!

"Sorry...I'm late. Michael...present"

The sliding door of the lecture opened with a bang as the appearance of Michael breathing heavily with a backpack appeared.

"You're Michael? You're quite bold for missing one week of classes, Mr. Grey"

The woman wearing a pair of glasses and with amazing curves looked at this student of hers that she's seeing for the first time with a little anger and a glint of interest.

Michael just smiled at her and stood on the doorway, as the murmuring of his fellow students reached his ears.

"Omo, he's quite handsome, isn't he?"

"From his appearance, it seems like he's older than us. Is he a repeater or returner? He's in trouble if he keeps skipping this class. I heard Ms. Ashton has quite the temper"

"Another hot guy in the class, seems worth it taking this PE class"

"Maine, that guy looks like someone on your target range, hehe"

"Shut up, Lisa"

Both Michael and the teacher could certainly hear the soft murmur echoing throughout the whole room, compared to the twitching face of Michael, the teacher on the other hand was slowly boiling in anger and yelled at them.

"Silence! You, get in and take a seat! If there is another time that you miss my classes again, you will immediately fail my class! The same goes for all of you! I don't have the patience to teach someone who doesn't have the desire to advance their studies!"

"If you think you can get away with your rude behaviors, then dream on! This isn't high school, but a university!"

"Got it!?"

"Yes professor~"

Michael finally found a seat at the same time the other students weakly answered Ms. Ashton.

'Damn'

Michael just cursed inside as he wasn't expecting a scolding is what greeted him the moment he arrived here, and felt quite embarrassed because of it as its been a while since he's been scolded like this, where someone is scolding a crowd, but it was actually directed at one person, and the others are just collateral damage.

So he just sat there and smiled at his fellow students around him and just listened to the class.

'I don't really have the desire to attend uni, but this is also a nice change of pace with my current lifestyle. I just wonder what Amanda would think if she learns about this as I didn't tell her about this yet. Alice is just too willful sometimes. No wonder Tom is that scared of her when she's angry'

And once again, Michael could only accept this and sighed at his current circumstances as he really didn't have that much of a choice as everything had already been decided the moment he applied at this university.

Not even five minutes in the class, a small crumpled paper was suddenly thrown towards his direction and landed on the desk in front of him.

Michael furrowed his brows and looked around, and then his eyes landed at two girls at the other side of the room who winked at him. One of them has blonde hair in a ponytail, while the other girl has wavy chestnut hair.

He just lightly smiled at the two of them and picked up the crumpled paper and opened it.

[Hey there, are you interested in becoming friends? Maine (blonde) and Lisa (chestnut)]

'It seems this way of sending messages to someone haven't changed yet'

Michael softly snorted and looked back at the two girls and just smiled at them in acknowledgement with what was written in the paper, along with a nod as he didn't really mind becoming friends with them as long as they are smart!

After all, who wouldn't want to be friends with someone who's got the brains and could possibly help them with their studies?

The thought of flirting with them didn't even cross his mind as he wasn't that interested in women younger than him.

Seeing Michael's reaction, the two girls couldn't help but look at each other as they thought there was something weird about it.

"What do you think?" Maine asked her friend in a whisper.

Lisa on the other hand, just raised an eyebrow and confidently replied, "Of course, he must be happy right now that two attractive and hot girls of the class is showing interest in him"

Unfortunately for the two girls, Michael had absolutely zero interest in them no matter how attractive they are.

That's just how men are when they are in love. They might admit that another woman is attractive and hot, but that doesn't mean that they would be attracted to them.

After all, not every man out there is a horny dog who wouldn't mind banging another cat behind their cat even when they would willingly offer themselves to the dog!

Soon, class was over, and the students slowly stood up from their seats and left the room one by one, while Michael got reprimanded by the Ms. Ashton on his way out, and while that was happening, the two girls, Maine and Lisa passed by them and winked at him and giggled to themselves.

Seeing that, Ms. Ashton narrowed her eyes and closely studied Michael, and as much as she didn't want to admit, Michael is really attractive just from his bearing and how he carried himself.

Ms.Ashton is confident at her beauty and her attractive physical features, but she can't even see a shred of lust in Michael's eyes.

Which at least elevated Michael's impression in her eyes, as it isn't easy for someone so young to control their emotions and urges, unless that someone is living eunuch in the modern times.

But what she didn't know is that Michael is getting enough nutrition in the bed every other day and is currently in a relationship, or he would have been ogling at her like any other horny dog out there, trying to get laid and pass their genes to the next generation!

After getting scolded by his PE teacher, Michael left the room as he waited for his next class to resume in two hours.

"Man, I was so unmotivated that i was thinking of other things while in class that I didn't even learn a single thing earlier"

"Michael!"

Michael was murmuring to himself along the hallway while looking at the scenery outside through the window when someone suddenly called out to him, and when he looked forward, he saw Maine and Lisa standing on the side of the hallway with books in their hands and smiling at him.

Michael thought for a moment before raising his hand in acknowledgement and walked over towards them.

"Hey, what's up?"

Maine and Lisa quickly shared a glance with each other before looking back at Michael.

"We're heading to the canteen to have some snacks, want to come?" said Maine.

Michael was about to reject their invitation, when Lisa quickly followed up after her friend and said, "And we can also you help with the classes you missed"

"Okay, sure, lead the way then"
