Chapter 211: We can just get them bankrupt

"Haha," Jing Lihua laughed his words and pushed his chest to escape from his strangling embrace. "Says the man who let his woman marry another."

Li Zhiqiang cupped her face; his expressions looking unsatisfied as he did not let her speak another word. "Don't test me Jing Lihua. Letting you marry another was already the limit of my endurance. The fact I did not kidnap you and marry you against your will was because of my devotion to you."

Jing Lihua blinked at the man who had the ability to flip from a Prince Charming covered in warm sunlight to a fearsome Devil seething fire in a matter of seconds. "Lefft gffo!" She managed to say while her cheeks were still squeezed by a big hand.

Li Zhiqiang only let her go after kissing her deeply. Jing Lihua rubbed her cheek. Resentment clouding around her. "You do not have to get so serious."

What was up with this man? When she wanted him to be serious, he would joke around. And when she wanted to joke, he would flip.

Aye, why he had to be so unpredictable? 

"Would you have forgiven me if I had kidnapped you and married you back six years ago?"

Jing Lihua gave it a thought: "Maybe..."

Li Zhiqiang raised an eyebrow at her.

"Alright, no." She admitted. "I was obsessive at that time. If you forced me, things would have turned out pretty ugly even if I had managed to gain my memories."

"How do you think things would have ended if I had taken... such desperate steps?" Li Zhiqiang asked; his eyes a little hazed. 

Why does the Devil ask this question? Could it be that he actually considered kidnapping me?

Jing Lihua was not happy to find this out. She stared at him with disapproval apparent in her clear green eyes. "You would have pretty much ended up impotent if you had tried to force me." She said with certainty. 

Li Zhiqiang paused, looking at her in surprise.

Jing Lihua laughed evilly. "Let it be a lesson to you," She smirked and got up only to be pulled back into his lap. 

"President Li, you are asking for it!"

"It won't be me forcing you if you want me more than I want you." He whispered seducingly into her ear.

Jing Lihua laughed at his words. "Nice try." However, her cheeks gained a tinge of red.

"Since you admit it was 'nice'..." Li Zhiqiang observed her reddening cheeks and leaned in to kiss her neck. 

Jing Lihua bit her lips once she felt slow, torturous soft lips on her sensitive neck. Her eyes darkened with dissatisfaction. She sw

irled in his lap and grabbed his collar. The next instant, she kissed him fiercely while straddling him. 

Li Zhiqiang was a little taken aback at the sudden forceful attack. Nevertheless, it was not something he could not handle. His huge palm rested at the back of Jing Lihua's neck as he guided her face to his ease.

After a passionate kiss, Jing Lihua didn't continue. Instead, placing her hand over the soft fabric of his deep blue blazer, she created a distance between them. She smiled down at him.

The fiery flames of lust in the Devil's eyes had yet not been doused out. His face revealed obvious discontent as his large palm proceeded to guide the little face of the woman on his lap to his mouth.

However, Jing Lihua didn't let him. "So?" She asked. "Who wants whom more?" She said while stabilizing her breaths. 

Li Zhiqiang's eyes flared as he stared at the little woman on his lap. His arm around her slender waist tensed. Grabbing her chin, he whispered. "You should playing or one day it might burn you."

Jing Lihua chuckled. "Same goes for you."

Jing Lihua tried to get up but was pulled back into the embrace of the man. His strong chest pressed against her back. Through the thin fabric of their clothes, Jing Lihua could feel his toned abs against her back.

"Who said you had the liberty to leave without taking the responsibility for your actions?" A dark voice echoed into her ear.

"This is my apartment." Jing Lihua said firmly. She tilted her head and shot a playful smile towards the man who held her resolutely.

"What do you want?" Li Zhiqiang knew why she was doing this.

"You know what I want." She laughed. Her laughter was akin to an evil succumbs luring men to their doom.

Li Zhiqiang loosened his hold over her. With a sigh of frustration, he asked: "Why don't you want me to accompany you?"

Jing Lihua stared at the ring in her hand. Her eyes displayed a hint of sadness. "Could you not tell why?" This Devil was so good at reading other's minds. Why would he not able to guess this time?

Li Zhiqiang gave it a thought. After some time, his eyes shifted towards her. "You are afraid people would criticize you." He said while gazing into her eyes looking for confirmation.

After all, the position where Li Zhiqiang stood was several levels above from where Jing Lihua or anyone in her circle could reach. At the current point, she had managed to save some projects and start some small level projects thus saving her company from bankruptcy.

But, as a whole, other than securing

a deal with the 'Li' corporation, there was no major accomplishment under her name.

At this time, if they announced their relationship, wouldn't that accomplishment also be named to her relationship? What other accomplishments she had to stand by the great President Li side? 

"Just a small matter," said Li Zhiqiang with an air of indifference.

"Small matter?" Jing Lihua was surprised at his confidence.

"If anyone dares to say a word, we can just get them bankrupt." He said as if it was really as simple as this. His expressions were totally serious as if he meant what he said.
