Chapter 210: When it comes to you, I do not know the word patience

"Jing Tian, I am so envious of you," said He Zongying.

Jing Tian let out a joyous laugh. "Ying Jie, you would be standing by my side the whole day. The ones who should be envious are those who have always been against us." Jing Tian words hinted at none other than Jing Lihua.

Ever since the news of Jing Lihua's divorce had made its way to her ears, she had treated it as the happiest event in her life. As she had played a part in the process resulting in Jing Lihua's divorce, Jing Tian was even more satisfied with a sense of accomplishment.

'Such a pity, I didn't get to see JieJie face when she had to get a divorce. I'm sure she must be feeling very angry at me. She must have not expected me to act. Elder sister, how does it feel to lose to me? Does that hurt?'

'And after hearing the news that I am getting engaged to the heir of the Gu family, your face must be green with envy. You could not have guessed I could get such an outstanding man, could you?' Jing Tian laughed in her heart. She was certain it must have been the case.

"But really, getting a reservation in the Royal Continental Hotel for your engagement party... This Gu Ting is surely rich." He Zongying still could not come over the fact that how Jing Tian managed to seduce Gu Ting.

The Gu family was a noteworthy family in the city. And Gu Ting, the heir of their fortune was known for his playful nature. He was notorious for keeping several lovers. Just how had Jing Tian managed to entrap him into an engagement?

That was what He Zongying could not understand.

"He certainly is. You should look at the ring he is going to put on my finger. It is one in the millions," told Jing Tian eagerly. "Brother Gu had had specially instructed a foreign company to make one for me. That company doesn't get orders just from anyone. It was only because of Brother Gu's name he was able to order one."

"He treats you well," said He Zongying, inwardly feeling not so well. The smile on her face was only fake.

"He surely does," Jing Tian laughed. She had seen through He Zongying expressions. And it did not worry her a bit if He Zongying was jealous of her. Instead, Jing Tian really enjoyed such looks on people's faces. 

Filling with resentment and jealousy while they force themselves to smile at you and be servile towards you...

That was the exact thing Jing Tian desired for most.

And what she was looking forward was to see Jing Lihua's expressions when she faced her.

Actually, at first Jing Tian had reservations about getting engaged to Gu Ting. No matter how rich, Gu Ting was still some levels below Su Liwei. Jing Tian was determined to find a better man than Jing Lihua. After all, all her childhood Jing Lihua had shadowed her exploiting her grandfather's money. J

Since those rich families prefer clean women, none of them would accept her.

Jing Tian was certain she had won.

So Jing Tian urged Gu Ting to arrange a splendid engagement party to rub it on Jing Lihua's face when she was still down from her divorce. Jing Tian was excitedly looking forward to the day. 

"Mom, do you think elder sister would attend my engagement party?"

"I don't think so. Do you think she is someone who can withstand your happiness? I am certain after learning about your engagement, she would be having sleepless nights." He Zongying snorted, saying the obvious.

"I want her to attend. Should I go and personally hand her over the invitation?" Jing Tian was unsatisfied with this. She wanted to Jing Lihua to attend the party and witness her 'success'.

Jing Tian still remembered how jealous she was the day Jing Lihua married Su Liwei. She assumed others were like her too. And that Jing Lihua would also be suffering once she witnesses her happiness.

Hence she wanted Jing Lihua to feel the same!

"If she doesn't attend, wouldn't that sully her own name? People would be gossiping that she could not endure her sister's happiness." He Zhouyan said. "Don't worry. I have sent an invitation. No matter what, you are her sister, she will have to attend. After all, she has to keep her face in society." He Zhouyan assured.

"No way!" Jing Lihua denied immediately.

"Why not?"

"President Li, you are getting more and more willful these past few days. You do whatever you want without minding me." Jing Lihua's eyes darkened as she warned.

"But why does the cat gets to accompany you while I do not?"

Jing Lihua: "..."

"Seriously? You are asking this question. It's a cat! It's not some ultra terrifying Devil from a fearsome 'Li' family!"

"I just want to accompany my fiancee to the engagement party of her sister. Is that too much to ask?" Li Zhiqiang was not going to give up.

Jing Lihua sighed helplessly. This Devil was so difficult to control. She had no idea what to do to coax him. She had tried the beauty trap already. But the Devil was not always easy to manipulate. Li Zhiqiang had grown smarter. The same tricks couldn't work always on him.

"You are always protecting me from behind the back."

"How can I be satisfied with just that?" Li Zhiqiang pulled her into his embrace. 

"In the future, we will have a lot of opportunities to stand together and attend such events. Why are you so impatient?"

"When it comes to you, I do not know the word patience." Li Zhiqiang kissed her deeply.
