Chapter 186: Pathetically exposed

Su Lanfen was on her flight back to Beijing. Even though her father sounded angry, she was not very disturbed about that. So what if he disobeyed him? In the end, she had successfully achieved what she wanted.

She no longer had to hide and wait for the scandal to disperse on its own.

She could do whatever she wanted and return to her glamorous lifestyle.

Even the thought of that excited her to no end as she prided herself in her smartness. Descending from her flight, she saw a flock of reporters waiting for her.

The size of the coverage astonished her. It was much more than any attention she ever had. Su Lanfen couldn't tell how happy she was that people were willing to accept her after her long period of absence from the mainstream.

Even more so, she was prideful of her accomplishment of single-handedly turning the situation into her favor.

"That Jing Lihua thinks she is smart? Pah! I really want to see her face right now." Su Lanfen said with a smile.

"Su Lanfen, you are really brilliant!" Ye Xianxian, her stylist quickly.

Both of them had been on the flight since the morning. Since there was no network, the events that transpired since the morning, they had no idea.

"Say, Ye Xianxian what do you think? After this wouldn't it be easier for me to win the upcoming Nightfall Gala Awards?" Initially, she had given up her hopes for the event. But after getting such an enormous amount of exposure, her hopes were high.

"The way the things are now, there is nothing that can stop you from getting an award!" Ye Xianxian excitedly exclaimed.

"All thanks to that idiot who helped me to gain this hype." Su Lanfen snorted. 

With a prideful stutter, she walked forward and faced the media.

The reporters were actually quite surprised when Su Lanfen didn't attempt to escape. Normally, under such circumstances, the artiste would be hiding away in shame. They would go to seclusion and try to avoid the public at all costs.

Especially now that Su Lanfen's case was so strong with everything put upfront. 

She had just appeared in front of everyone, when all the reporters went into a frenzy, charging a myriad of questions. It all came out mumbled and no one could make sense.

Su Lanfen's lips twitched up into a smile. "All right, everyone. I know that you are excited to get a few words from me. How about you ask one question at a time? I will do my best to answer!" Su Lanfen said enthusiastically.

"Ms. Su, what are you going to say in your defense at what transpired in the party at the Su I

slands resort?" A reported quickly asked aloud.

Su Lanfen frowned loudly. The wording fo the reported made it appear like she was at fault.

But Su Lanfen didn't mind it. After all, reporters were known to use backhanded wording to provoke their victims into saying something inappropriate and then make a big fuss about it.

"About what happened back at the party, as every one of you has already seen, I tried my best to help my cousin in law out of the situation. I had gone forward to lend my help because of my pure sentiments of kindness and pity. But who knew it would backfire and she would actually behave in such a wild way?" Su Lanfen said in a self-righteous tone. 

All the reporters looked at each other.

It appeared that Su Lanfen was entirely on a different wavelength as compared to them.

"Then... why do you think she suddenly decided to end her relationship with Mr. Su? Do you think it has anything to do with you?" Anther reporter astutely asked while all the other reporters were still stunned at her shameless response.

"What can I say? It would be inappropriate for me to say something against her. But... the accusation of those youngsters played a role in that matter. After all what man would tolerate his wife hitting on other people, not to mention hitting on a teen? Other than that I won't say anything."

The reporters couldn't tolerate it anymore. One of them thrust his camera forward and asked in a loud voice. "Then what is your opinion about the statements all of those youngsters released this morning? Would you insist that they are fake?"

Hearing his words, Su Lanfen froze. "What statements?"

"Not only the statement, what are you going to say in your defense for doing drugs. Is it what you ought to teach the younger generation that follows you?" Another one said.

"What are you talking about?!" Su Lanfen's voice cracked. 

D-Drugs?

How could something about that leak out?

Her heart thumped loudly and sweat started pouring out of her body. She grew impatient when no one answered her.

 "What the f**k are you talking about?"

The reporters made faces at such a vulgar response from a woman who was known for her gentleness. "About your indecent tape with the manager of X films, what do you have to say on that?"

"Regarding you are forcing the young teen idols to bed you using your connections, are those accusations true?"

Su Lanfen felt her whole world was spinning. Despite her pale face and hastening breath, the reporters didn't let h

er off. She couldn't believe it was happening.

In a panic, she took out her tablet and searched the latest news regarding her. The sight that concluded before her made her almost faint on the spot.

"What the f**k! I didn't do anything! It was not me! It is all fake!" Tears streamed down on her cheeks. Her appearance was pathetic. Her vision blurred. She was on the verge of fainting. 

However, that didn't stop the reporters who continued filming and taking photos of her during her downtime. Instead, they treated it as a rare opportunity.

"No! Get away from me! Don't shoot!" She screamed on top of her lungs but it was useless.
