Chapter 117 - This is not it!

Only now, everyone noticed the silence from Qian He's side. When they all collectively looked at him, they saw his whitening face. He took out a handkerchief and wisped streaks of sweat from his forehead. "I-I suppose we wouldn't need to go that far." His eyes looked pleadingly at Jing Lihua as if begging her to let it go. Whatever to be said, he still was the President for twenty years and everyone in the company respected him. To bend his knees and beg, would be humiliating.

But her cunning eyes showed him no mercy. Instead, he traced mock in her sharp green eyes.

He took a deep breath. He had no choice. He rose and walked towards the middle.

"What are you doing Mr. Qian?" His slow staggering steps rose anxiety in Xie Qiang and a few others' hearts. After all, they all had been so aggressive because they had his assurance. Without that, they didn't want to lose their position.

They all saw as he went down on knees in the front of Jing Lihua. "Forgive me, President Jing, I've been in wrong." His eyes didn't even meet Jing Lihua. His voice was low.

"Qian He! Have you lose your mind?! What are you doing?" Xie Qiang quickly went to his side to pick him up from kneeling but Qian He pushed away his hand. Xie Qiang was shocked.

"Sorry, Mr. Qian. We couldn't hear you. Would you mind being a bit louder? Or we wouldn't know if you are truly sorry or not. You know if we wouldn't know what you are sorry for, what might happen."

Qiang He almost gnashed his teeth. "President Jing I was wrong for standing against you." He bowed.

"Now that your voice is loud enough, you shall also explain in detail what exactly you are sorry for?"

"I was blinded by greed and collaborated with outsiders to cause chaos in your company. They promised me as long as I do as they ask, they would win back to me the position of President."

A loud gasp was followed by a chain of whispers. Jing Lihuaraised her hand to silence everyone.

"Qian He, you have gone insane! Get up right now!" Xie Qiang was shocked.

"Mr. Qian, would you mind telling us who was this outsider who promised you President position?"

Qian He was silent for a long time. He was contemplating which side was more dangerous. But as he was reminded of his secretary's words, he thought 'fuck it'. He didn't want to rot the rest of his life in prison. "It was Chen Feng, the Su enterprise President personal secretary who had approached me."

This time the swish of whispers was louder than anything. Jing Lihua was silent for a while then she rose. "Well, this settles everything. I have taken note of all those names who were a part of this. Late this evening, I'll sed my personal secretary to hand over the list of names. I advise all of them better empty their offices soon." And she walked out. Just like that, leaving a crowd of a shocked audience.

No wonder she was so confident all the time. People here might not know what exactly was happening but they could speculate. Why else would Qian He change his attitude so quickly if not for some dark secrets being gotten into Jing Lihua's hands?

"Dammit! I won't let her off!" Xie Qiang burst with a smoldering glare in the direction she had left.

"Xie Qiang, do not do this. You do not understand what is she!" Qian He was truly traumatized.

"I'm going down for sure. That bitch would take my position. I might as well give her a blow before going down or I would regret for the rest of my life." Maybe Su Donghai would be pleased and help him out. Thinking about that he dialed a number. "Are all of you ready? She is getting out. Get in position."

This fight had not yet ended.

Jing Lihua had just walked out when she sensed something wrong. "Well looks like they have arranged for some more entertainment for us." A dozen of scoundrels dressed office employees dress surrounded them. All holding rods or different things ready to assault. "Seriously? This is ridiculous. I was expecting something better." Jing Lihua shook her head. So they wanted to create a drama. But Jing Lihua could easily get hold over any such rumors. While rumors might harm her worth, it would only be temporary. "I must warn you. Do you guys know raising a hand against me would get you in serious trouble? Because the last ones ended with fatal injuries."

Wang Yi took in a position to surround and protect Jing Lihua.

Hearing her words some of them stopped and hesitated. "Don't fear y'all. Remember Boss Xie's words. He said he would get us out of here if we do the job right!"

"So it is Xie Qiang behind this? Thanks for the info." Now she knew whom to target next.

The man who said that froze. Another one barked at him. "Damn it! Luo Dong! Can't you keep your mouth shut for once?"

Jing Lihua almost laughed at their stupidity "Seriously though? You know what your boss Xie Qiang dressed you in employees for a reason. You are supposed to look like unhappy employees who go overboard during their protest and end up injuring the President. So this is how it would seem legit."

"You know what? The woman is right. Just so as she said." Luo Dong gave it a thought. And they all rushed at Jing Lihua rising their rods and whatever. Wang Yi quickly took the position and grabbed out two guns and aimed at them.

They all froze. Not a single whisper. No one of them had any gun.

"So anyone else?" Jing Lihua laughed. No one moved. She looked up and in the balcony, she spotted Xie Qiang standing and looking over everything. His knuckled were turned white as he held into the fence tightly. His anger was visible in his eyes. "Mr. Xie, I thought you could do better than that." She shook her head looking disappointed.

"This is not it!" He bristled.
