“You’re awake?” Jiang Yao could not help but ask first. There was a hint of joy in her voice. “I didn’t give you too much anesthesia.” Your wound might be a little painful. Bear with it.”

“Okay.” Lu Xingzhi responded. His mental state was not much different from when Jiang Yao had just found him. She was beside him, so he could not help but force himself to look at her a few more times.
