Liang Yueze went to a quiet spot and dialed the number for the military base in Luo City. He spoke to Mr. Jiang, who thanked the heavens after learning that Lu Xingzhi had been found.

“Where is my sister? How is she?” Cheng Jinnian’s anxious voice came from the other side of the phone.
