Chapter 211 Xiangyan was in the hospital again

The taxi arrived to the hospital very soon. The hospital was still crowded at night since it was the best hospital in this city.

Mo Yichen held Xiangyan and rushed to the hospital after getting off the taxi. He even didn’t have enough time to pay the taxi fare.

“Hey, you haven’t pay me.”

The driver kept shouting to them and was about to run after them.

Gu Yan heard the shouting and turned around. She suddenly realized it and came back to the driver as soon as possible.

“Sorry, sir. We are in a hurry and forget to pay you.” Gu Yan explained to the driver.

“35 yuan.” The driver said.

“It’s OK. I don’t mind.” He smiled.

He looked not very young with a perfect face and had an easy way of speaking.

Gu Yan took out her purse hurriedly and paid 100 yuan. She was worried when she looked at Mo Yichen and Xiangyan.

“Keep the change, please.” Then Gu Yan rushed to Mo Yichen.

“Nurse Liu, hurry up. Please take him to the emergency room and call the pediatrician immediately.”

Mo Yichen rushed to the emergency room. The doctor came to him as soon as possible.

Xiangyan closed his eyes and was white-lipped. He kept snoring and his nose was red. He was very uncomfortable.

The doctor touched Xiangyan’s head and measured the blood pressure. Then he shook his head and blamed, “I said that you should take good care of him and he couldn’t feel the wind. Why did you let him get cold again?”

“How can he be like this?”

“He was playful. He got cold at the park since we stayed there for a long time.” Mo Yichen blamed himself.

He looked at Xiangyan and touched his mess hair.

“You spoil him too much. He is much worse than before.” The doctor said.

“Doctor, how is he?”

Gu Yan held the doctor’s arm and was trembling. She blamed herself with tears, “I’m sorry. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t promise him to go to the park…”

Mo Yichen held Gu Yan and patted her right shoulder gently.

“Don’t worry. He got flu this time. He might get infected in the park since children had poor resistance. He should stay at the hospital and get venous transfusion. Don’t blame yourself and take some daily necessities for him.” The doctor said.

“Thank you, doctor. We’ll do it.” Mo Yichen said.

Xiangyan fell asleep after getting venous transfusion. He was too weak to kick up a row. Now he was well-behaved after he was ill.

“Yichen, I’m sorry. It is me who unthoughtful. I shouldn’t let him leave the hospital.” Gu Yan said regrettably.

She lowered her head since she was very sorry.

“I’m so careless. It’s my fault to let him get worse.” Gu Yan was sad.

“Don’t blame yourself. It is unpredictable. The most important thing is taking care of Xiangyan.” Mo Yichen comforted Gu Yan.

“It’s too late now. You should go home since you didn’t sleep last night. Don’t worry about him. I’ll handle it.” Mo Yichen said.

He took out his mobile phone and looked at time. It was 9 o’clock. Time really flew.

“I will call the driver to send you home.” He added.

“No, I’ll stay here. I can’t sleep well since I am worried about him.” Gu Yan was unwilling to go back home.

Mo Yichen could only agree with her. They were in the hospital again for the whole night. Gu Yan didn’t sleep at all since she should take care of Xiangyan and Mo Yichen who was not good at taking care of others.

Mo Yichen tried to persuade her to have a rest. She promised him but was nervous when Xiangyan moved a little. She was worried about Xiangyan very much.

Gu Yan was so tired since she didn’t sleep for the whole night.

Mo Yichen was woken up by Li Yunhong’s call in the next morning.

“Hey, keep the voice down.” Gu Yan gave Mo Yichen an eye contact. Then he went out to answer the phone.

Only a few people were at the corridor. The lights were dingy here. Mo Yichen went to the end of the corridor, opened the window, breathed the fresh air and stretched out his arms.

He took out the phone and called his mom.

“Yichen, what are you doing? I called you so many times.” Li Yunhong asked.

“Mom, I was so tired since I took care of Xiangyan last night.” Mo Yichen said.

“What happened to Xiangyan? Where are you? There’s nobody in the apartment.” Li Yunhong was confused.

She was so worried that she raised her voice. Mo Yichen couldn’t bear it and could only kept his phone away for seconds.

“Mom, Xiangyan…”

Mo Yichen was hesitating but could only tell her the truth since fire couldn’t be wrapped up in paper, although he didn’t want to make his mom worried.

“What’s wrong with Xiangyan? Come on. Tell me.” Li Yunhong was worried.

“Mom, Xiangyan is in the hospital.” Mo Yichen told her.

“What? He just left the hospital yesterday. Why is he in the hospital again?” Li Yunhong was angry.

“He was worse than before.” Mo Yichen admitted.

“What? I am going to the hospital right now.” Li Yunhong said.

“Mom, don’t worry. We can take care of Xiangyan. The doctor also said that it’s not a big problem if we take good care of him.”

The footsteps on the phone had already covered most of the other sounds. Mo Yichen looked at the phone and sighed gently.

It seemed that something bad would happen.
