Chapter 210 Playing at the park

After Gu Yan got back together with Mo Yichen, she finally lived together with Mo Yichen and Xiangyan.

Gu Yan couldn’t believe that Li Yunhong would allow her to move into Mo’s family. She was very nervous since Li Yunhong was discontented with her a few days ago.

Mo Yichen also didn’t know why Li Yunhong changed her mind, but he was happy about it. Li Yunhong not only prepared breakfast for Gu Yan, but also was willing to listen to her advice. What was more, she even allowed Gu Yan to take care of Xiangyan.

“Happiness suddenly falls on me, which is so unimaginable. Maybe my mom changed her mind due to Xiangyan’s illness and my insistence.” Mo Yichen thought.

“Did Li Yunhong really change her mind? Did she want to know about me? Or maybe she found that I was not as bad as she imagined.”

Gu Yan had been thinking about it too. She wondered why Li Yunhong changed her attitude suddenly. As a woman, she knew that Li Yunhong accepted her superficially. Li Yunhong was willing to give her another chance to know more about her just for Mo Yichen and Xiangyan.

All of them had their own secrets. Then they came to the apartment where Xiangyan lived.

The butler came to welcome them when they arrived. Mo Yichen and Gu Yan moved many things from the car. Gu Yan bought many things for Xiangyan, most of which were toys.

“You two must take good care of Xiangyan and don’t let him get ill again. I will come to see him tomorrow morning.” Li Yunhong told them.

“I am going home since I have many things to do. Yichen, call me when you need me.” Seeing Mo Yichen and Gu Yan who were busy, Li Yunhong talked to her son.

Li Yunhong was tired since she was busy these days. Now she was weaker.

“Don’t worry, mom. We can handle it. Please take care of yourself.” Mo Yichen comforted her.

“OK, let’s go.” Li Yunhong told the driver.

Mo Yichen and Gu Yan gazed after Li Yunhong until her car drove away.

They looked at each other and showed a happy smile.

“Dad, I want to go to the park.”

Xiangyan suddenly showed up in the middle of Mo Yichen and Gu Yan. He begged Mo Yichen and looked at him with tears.

“Yichen, you’d better not to take him to go outside since he just recovered.” Gu Yan said.

“Dad, I want to catch butterflies and fly a kite. Dad, please fly a kite with me.” Xiangyan begged.

Mo Yichen couldn’t bear to refuse him. He squatted, held Xiangyan’s hands and said gently, “Go to ask Auntie Gu. I’ll take you to the park if she agrees.”

Xiangyan was happy and capered to Gu Yan. He held Gu Yan’s hands and begged, “Auntie Gu, please let me go to the park…”

Gu Yan was vacillating. She looked at Mo Yichen who set her a very difficult task. He snickered under the sunshine, which made him charming.

“Xiangyan, there’re many people in the park. You don’t recover yet. Shall we go to the park another day? I can tell you a story today.” Gu Yan tried to persuade Xiangyan.

“No, I want to go to the park now. Story is for the bed time…”

Xiangyan squatted down on the ground with crying and screaming. Seeing that he ran at the nose, Gu Yan didn’t have the heart to refuse him.

“Well. But you have to listen to me…” Gu Yan helped him to wipe his nose while talking.

Xiangyan stood up suddenly when he got the agreement from Gu Yan. He smiled immediately and ran to the room to find something.

Gu Yan looked at Mo Yichen helplessly. Mo Yichen shrugged and was helpless, too. Xiangyan was spoiled and could always get everything he wanted.

Xiangyan found a kite after a while. It was a huge eagle kite.

“Wow, this kite is so beautiful. It must be very cool.” Gu Yan gasped with admiration.

“Of course. It made by my dad. I haven’t play it yet.” Xiangyan said proudly.

It was sunny today but a little windy. There were many people playing at the park. Gu Yan wore a hat for Xiangyan in case he got bad cold again. Xiangyan was so happy, holding Mo Yichen’s right hand and Gu Yan’s left hand. Xiangyan hurried them since he couldn’t wait to fly a kite. But it was useless. Mo Yichen and Gu Yan rambled slowly.

There were colorful kites flying in the park in this season. Some were flying in the air and some were higher and higher since the line was broken.

Xiangyan was so boring when he was in the hospital. He was so excited now since he could go out to have fun. He ran and ran and tried to fly the kite but failed. Then he came to his father, looking down in the mouth.

The kite was dragged on the ground like a broken-winged eagle.

“Dad, I can’t do it.” Xiangyan was sad.

Mo Yichen looked at him. Then he picked up the kite and said confidently, “Let me help you, my son.”

Mo Yichen and Xiangyan ran on the playground, and finally they succeeded. The kite was like an eagle which flew in the sky. Xiangyan kept applauding for his father.

“Dad, you are so great.” Xiangyan followed Mo Yichen. He ran and ran, although he fell down many times.

It was getting dark. The wind became stronger. The kite flew far away and even couldn’t be recognized.

Xiangyan was out of strength. His sweat was dried by the wind and he ran at the nose badly.

“Dad, I am cold.” Xiangyan said.

Mo Yichen and Gu Yan rushed to him when hearing that. Xiangyan was even white-lipped because he got fever again.

Then they took a taxi to the hospital hurriedly.

The kite which was broken still flew in the sky. It had no exact direction and flew away.
