Chapter 187 The confession

Wen Yunfeng knelt and held a bunch of roses with pleading eyes.

“Gu Yan, will you come back to me?”

He said in a low voice. It sounded like he was begging.

“Say yes… Say yes.” People around them shouted. Their voices became louder and louder.

Gu Yan didn’t know how to refuse him at first. She had nothing to do with him. She didn’t expect that he would make such a great loving ceremony.

“What should I do?” Gu Yan was in a dilemma. She looked at Wen Yunfeng who was pathetical.

The images of Wen Yunfeng playing around with other women and his mother’s insult occurred in Gu Yan’s mind. She had illusions about him at that time. However, he hurt her a lot and disregarded her feelings.

“Yunfeng, we are divorced… I don’t love you anymore… Just let me go. We can’t return to the past. Please don’t bother me again.”

Gu Yan took a deep breath and calmed down. She pulled her hand out of Wen Yunfeng and was about to leave. Suddenly, she was caught by him.

He threw the roses and stood up. Then he held Gu Yan into his arms at full tilt.

She was overwhelmed by Wen Yunfeng’s action. His hug was warm as before, but Gu Yan had no feeling for him.

The crowd applauded, and the fireworks were blooming. They hugged together with music. The candles around them were slightly blown by the wind.

“It is romantic! She is so lucky…”

“If I were her, I would marry him as soon as possible. What a good man!”

People envied, admired and cheered…

Gu Yan was held tightly and was unable to get rid of him. However, she wasn’t moved. All she wanted was to get away from here immediately.

Wen Yunfeng finally loosened Gu Yan. He asked her again with pleading eyes, “Gu Yan, please give me a chance. OK?”

The crowd couldn’t figure out what happened. They pitied Wen Yunfeng and left.

“She is unwilling to get back together even I begged her.” Wen Yunfeng turned around and looked at their pictures in the screen. He laughed and cried, “How happy it was! But it was ruined by me. What shall I do?” He wiped the tears and left destructively.

In the bar, Wen Yunfeng drank a lot and told Liu Zihao the whole story.

“She refused me without any hesitation. She even didn’t give me any chance.”

Wen Yunfeng lifted the wine glass and shook it. Then he drank the wine without taking a breath. He forced a smile and was bending over the table. He was all over with the smell of alcohol.

“Every woman likes me, except her. Why she doesn’t care about me? Why? … How could she disregard my feelings even if I begged her…”

The more Wen Yunfeng said, the angrier he became. He threw all wine glasses on the floor. Then he was choked by the wine in his mouth because of his action. He was bending over the table and couldn’t stop coughing.

Liu Zihao comforted Wen Yunfeng who was tortured by himself. He patted Wen Yunfeng’s shoulder and was helpless. Suddenly, he came up with an idea.

“Yunfeng, I have an idea. When soft methods failed, hard tactics were used.” Liu Zihao said.

Wen Yunfeng heard it and looked at Liu Zihao. He was confused. There were noticeable tear stains on Wen Yunfeng’s face.

“I remember that you have her dirty pictures. You can threaten her that you will make public those if she still refuses you.”

Liu Zihao said seriously with an evil smile. Every word sounded reasonable.

Wen Yunfeng shook his head and called the waiter, “Give me more wine.”

Wen Yunfeng didn’t want to get things into an impasse since he still loved her. He hoped that Gu Yan could get back to him because of a change of heart. He still had the illusions. What he wanted was Gu Yan’s love.

“I don’t want to let her down. I hope to be back then. We just got married. How happy we were! I believe that she still has feelings for me. I will find a way to make her get back to me.”

Wen Yunfeng firmly believed that Gu Yan had feelings for him. He couldn’t play dirty tricks. Nothing forcibly done was going to be agreeable.

“But she…she refused you in front of so many people. What are you thinking about?” Liu Zihao saw that Wen Yunfeng was hesitant. He tried to persuade Wen Yunfeng, “Don’t forget that you have a rival in love, Mo Yichen. Don’t regret if she becomes his wife.”

“I will think about it… There must be a perfect way.” Wen Yunfeng said.
