Chapter 169 The amusement park

Gu Yan entered into the hall with the gift from Mo Yichen and was about to slip away. It seemed that she was very satisfied with the dinner.

“You are back.” Liang Shaohun held a glass of wine and looked at Gu Yan who went upstairs. Gu Yan hid the gift quickly.

“It’s just a gift from a friend.” Gu Yan bypassed Liang Shaohun.

“Is it from someone that I know? Come on, let me have a look.” He wanted to grab the gift from Gu Yan.

“No. It’s just an ordinary gift.” Gu Yan grabbed again and went back to her room. Liang Shaohun could only go back to his room.

“You are similar to Mo Yichen. Come on, why are you so shy?” Liang Shaohun was still mumbling as he went back to his room.

Gu Yan opened the box. It was a diamond necklace which was very dazzling. She couldn’t help staring at it.

“Is Mo Yichen crazy? It is too early and wasteful to give me such an expensive gift.” Gu Yan looked at the necklace carefully and found there was a row of letters “yycl” on it. Gu Yan couldn’t figure out the meaning of those letters.

Then she put the necklace on the bottom of her suitcase. At that time, Liang Shaohun knocked on the door.

“Gu Yan, it’s me, Shaohun.”

Gu Yan could only open the door.

“It’s too late, Childe Liang.” Gu Yan didn’t want him to come in since she didn’t want to gossip with him.

“I have something to tell you.” Liang Shaohun said.

“What’s going on?”

“Shall I come in?” Liang Shaohun passed Gu Yan and entered into her room directly.

“Say it!”

“You don’t have to stay here until the opening ceremony. Also, I have to go back to Lin’an City. You only need to send someone to do refined decoration. I will inform you the exact time.”

“You mean I can leave here, right?” Gu Yan was very excited because she wanted to fly to France to visit her grandma.

“Did I imprison you? You can go wherever you want.” Liang Shaohun thought Gu Yan was rebellious, so he said with anger.

“Well. I will go to France first and will contact you when I go back to Lin’an City.” Gu Yan said.

“You are very happy about it, right? I have a meeting in another city tomorrow morning and can’t drive you to the airport. Take care of yourself. See you.” Then Liang Shaohun walked out quickly.

“Thank you for your cooperation.” Gu Yan bowed three times to show her gratefulness.

She would sleep very well tonight since everything was done. She only had to book the air ticket to France.

Liang Shaohun made a phone call outside the door.

“She is going to leave. Are you going with her?” He asked.

“I know what to do. Thanks for taking care of her.” The person on the phone replied and then hung up.

“Well. I am done.” Liang Shaohun walked back to his bedroom.

Mo Yichen was very satisfied since he had sent his gift to Gu Yan with a reasonable excuse and she also accepted it. But he had no idea about his own feeling. “Will I love her?”

At this moment, both Mo Yichen and Gu Yan were leaning on the window and looking at the moon. They might think of the same thing.

It was an exciting night with surprises.

The stars shone in the dark sky.

The next day, Gu Yan got up early and packed up her luggage. She looked the necklace again and put it in her suitcase reluctantly.

Then she looked around to see if there were any thing missed.

“It’s time to go.”

Gu Yan checked the message of the air ticket booked last night.

“I have to say goodbye to Liang Shaohun.” Then she went out to find him.

She knocked on the door of Liang Shaohun but nobody replied. The servant told Gu Yan that Liang Shaohun went out early. She patted on her head and remembered his words last night. “Fine. I should know it.”

Gu Yan ate the chicken porridge made by the servant and then said goodbye to her. Gu Yan would take the airplane at 1 p.m. Liang Shaohun had arranged the driver to send her to the airport specially. However, she didn’t want to bother the driver who had been waiting outside all the morning.

Gu Yan took a taxi to the airport by herself and arrived early. Then she sat in the fast food restaurant near the airport.

There was a family sitting beside her. They were very happy.

“Where do you want to go this afternoon?” The father asked. “To the amusement park again.” The child replied. It seemed that it was the child’s birthday. His parents accompanied him to celebrate his birthday, so he was very happy.

“We had already been to the amusement park before, why do you want to go there again?” The father asked.

“Mom and dad will accompany me. I’m very happy.” The child said.

Gu Yan heard that and thought of Xiangyan. “What a wonderful thing if I could go to the amusement park with Xiangyan.” But she knew that it couldn’t happen.

“What about celebrating every birthday with mom and dad?” The mother asked. It was such a happy thing to spend time with family, which was just a dream for Gu Yan.

Gu Yan gazed at them and was deep in thought. At that time, the child ran over to her and gave her a lollipop.

“Thank you for your lollipop, sweet heart. You are so lucky since your mom and dad can accompany you.” Gu Yan touched his head.

“Sister, do you have a child to celebrate birthday together?”

“I do have a child. But he is not with me.” Gu Yan replied.

“Where is your child?” The child asked.

“I don’t know.”

“Why don’t you find him? He is your child. Do you want to abandon him?” The child was curious. Gu Yan was hard to talk about it.

“I don’t know how to face him and can’t find him.” She replied.

“I believe that your child will come back to you because you are a good person.” Then the child jumped back to his parents.

“Maybe Xiangyan will come back to me.” Gu Yan thought.
