“Dingding! Dingding!” Xiao Wang, Wen Yunfeng’s assistant, was interrupted by the crazy ringing. He was trembled when he saw the name on the screen.

“Hello, Madam Wu.” Xiao Wang was so frightened that he almost dropped the phone on the ground.

“President Mo, you need to go over this document. There is a meeting tonight that you need to present.” Wu Gang said to Mo Yichen, but Mo Yichen was thinking of something else.

“Don’t worry! We are best friends and often sleep in the same bed. Leave him to me. I will help you pacify him temporarily and ask clearly what happened.” Liang Shaohui shook off Wu Gang’s hand and went into Mo Yichen’s office directly.

“I heard that you terminated the contract with Chen’s company for some reason the other day? According to my knowledge, Chen’s company has cooperated with yours for many years.” Liang Shaohui asked Mo Yichen calmly.

Mo Yichen fell into meditation. He never hid anything from Liang Shaohui.

“Is it because of Gu Yan?” Liang Shaohui continued asking.

“I…don’t know how to protect her. I am confused. When I see her, I feel that I don’t need to think about those upset things, but I…” Mo Yichen lost himself again.

“I think if you really like Gu Yan, you should give her more time and patience. After all, the divorce between her and Wen Yunfeng provoked gossips among others. How can she accept your love right after she got hurt?” Liang Shaohui said seriously.

“But I do feel upset. Maybe it is because of Xiangyan.” Mo Yichen took out a bottle of red wine from the refrigerator and drank it casually. Liang Shaohui was astonished to see him drink at work. He finally learned what was wrong with Mo Yichen.

“Nothing. Go ahead.” Liang Shaohui could tell that there must be something unhappy between Gu Yan and Mo Yichen. He suddenly thought of the love stories his sister often told him.

“Trust?” The word echoed in Mo Yichen’s mind.
