Chapter 1355: Bullying the ruler

I nodded.

Yan Zhao Warrior looked down and frowned, “Damn, why is there a 200 men patrolling squad at the east city gate, they aren’t ours.”

“Whose?”

“Guards Army, but they aren’t under Situ Xin’s control, a Iron Cloak Guard is a Lieutenant.”

“No time.”

I looked at the time and it was half a minute from 12. I raised an arm and smiled, “Afte I kill him, open the gate and let Royal Army in.”

“Okay!”

Flames surged and I entered God Form. I pulled out Chunjun Sword and Butterfly before diving down. I used Wind Carrying Slash+Strength of a thousand men on that lieutenant. He turned around and placed his shield in front of his chest before shouting, “Who dares to assassinate me?”

My sword pierced his chest and he laughed coldly, “Do I need to assassinate someone like you to kill you? Just die peacefully!”

I waved my sword and slashed his chest to slice off his head.

Fresh blood spurted and the Guards Army troops raised their weapons at me, “Who is it to dare to assassinate the city guard general?”

The torch was raised and they shone on my face. I returned my sword to my sheath and said, “Me, is there a problem?”

The soldiers were stunned and they knelt down, “Your Highness! You… Why did you kill General Xu?”

“Today I announce, the highest order to all the armies: Clear out Iron Cloak Guards! It has nothing to do with all of you, back down!”

“Okay!”

As expected, my strategy to kill before explaining was quite reliable.

The gates opened and numerous Royal Army cavalries entered the city with Jing Yin at the helm. Her mount was faster so she got close, “Sir, our men have entered, now what?”

“Nothing much.” I smiled, “We generals won this land and we can’t let it land in the hands of scum. Iron Cloak Guards are cheating the world and are lying to the emperor, I came to kill you thieves. All of you die!”

His face was filled with rage and he pointed his blade at me, “Li Xiao Yao you thief, as the emperor’s teacher and the xiao Yao King you actually used troops to harm his majesty. You are truly a dog.”

Jing Yin couldn’t take it and she said easily, “Royal Army kill!”

Killing shouts rang out and the Royal Army troops charged out. Spears and swords pierced their bodies. These guards were noobs so how could they be our match? In just ten minutes, their 1000 men were turned into meat paste. Royal Army didn’t eevn lose a hundred.

We stabbed right in and headed towards Lochlan’s palace.

There were Iron Cloak Guards blocking along the way but they were killed. When we were outside the sleeping palace, finally around a thousand guards appeared. Archers defended the area and a red robed general raised his sword, “Fire, kill these rebels!”

A Iron Cloak Guard hesitated, “Sir, the person is Xiao Yao King!”

“Kill him!”

He shouted, “Li Xiao Yao is a rebel, kill him and you become a marquis!”

Arrows fired like rain. The valiant Royal Army was definitely not afraid of such fire. The cavalries raised their shields to block and knock the arrows aside. The heads of the horses were wrapped in armor so the arrows couldn’t enter at all. This round of fire didn’t cause us to suffer such losses.

“Kill!”

I hollered and used Underworld Sword Breaking to shatter the stone pillars around me. The giant ceiling collapsed and killed many archers. The Royal Army cavalries were covered and in a blink of an eye, the area around was a blood pod.

The general in a red robe retreated. I targeted him and charged. Jing Yin and Yan Zhao Warrior also led people into the hall.

That person was definitely Gao Liancheng.

The palace servants lit the lamp and shone on the area. When they saw the Royal Army charging in with bloodstained blades, they were stunned. Some even screamed. They had lived their lives in peace so when did they ever see such a thing?

Jing Yin was the most calm and he cupped his fists, “Your Majesty, his highness is not rebelling.”

“Shut up!”

Lochlan said fiercely, “Lead the Royal Army into my sleeping palace, is that not trying to rebel?”

Jing Yin smiled, “Your Majesty, you are the ruler of the country and you should know that without him there is no you? Don’t forget that Master Li took down most of this land? You actually sent people to monitor him and even used people like the Iron Cloak Guards. Your Majesty, are you so worried to lose your land?”

His face turned green, “General Jing Yin what do you mean?”

“Nothing.” She placed her sword across her chest, “This land is ruled by people with skill and virtue. If you continue to act like this, naturally someone will replace you.”

Lochlan shivered in rage and looked at me with his cold eyes, “Li Xiao Yao are you planning to replace me?”

I said coldly, “Men, behead Gao Liancheng!”

Lin Qiong charged and his sword flashed across. Gao Liancheng’s head flew up before he could even say anything.

“Preposterous Li Xiao Yao!”

Lochlan raged.
