Chapter 132 - Making Her Brilliant

Kang Cheng and Deng Yongjian did not know whether to be happy or worried.

Xia Peifeng and Yao Jiahong seemed to keep looking at Shi Jin.

She was sitting at the window with a manuscript as she practiced her new song.

Sunlight came pouring through the window and scattered on her making her brilliant. And some dust floated in the air against the light giving her a worldly air.

She lowered her eyes and looked ahead intently, thoroughly immersed in the song as she sang.

Shi Jin looked up when she got to a particular part of the song and seemed to stop and think.

Xia Peifeng and Yao Jiahong were standing apart from each other, looking at Shi Jin when she looked up. They did not dare to make eye contact with her and automatically looked at Wen Yongwei as she sang and danced.

Wen Yongwei felt delighted when she noticed them looking at her, but she pretended not to know. Instead, she was particularly careful as she put on her best performance.

However, Xia Peifeng and Yao Jiahong did not pay attention to her performance at all.

Kang Cheng's words served to affirm Wen Yongwei's speculation. She nodded hard. "Thanks, I will."

"Let me know if you need anything such as instruments, instructors, dancers, or accompaniment." Kang Cheng encouraged her sincerely, "Work hard."

She felt even more joyful just thinking about it.

"All six contestants will perform two by two and the one with the lower number of votes will get eliminated."

Each pair of contestants were determined by drawing lots. Based on the rules, the last three contestants would draw the lots.

Situ Hao aka Little Lion was a dark horse who made it as the sixth contestant. He was first to draw lots and covered his mouth when he saw the name of his opponent.

His opponent was Wen Yongwei aka Little Rose!

The film crew felt pleased with the outcome.

Hua Xin came in fifth and he was next to draw lots.

A thought crossed his mind when he saw that his opponent was Little Stone.

The fourth contestant was Gu Qinghua and she did not have to draw lots since only Meng Shaoheng was left. In any case, she did not care about winning.
