Chapter 152: A Bunch Of Trash!

“Leave it to me, boss. I’ll hand you this kid’s bones on a silver platter later…” The lackey’s Battle Beast was a rare purple rank beast. Although its level was not all that high, it was considered above average.

More and more people began to gather around the scene. They had been isolated from the surface for too long, and they had not heard of Locke.

“This kid doesn’t look like he’s even 20 yet…”

“He’s too young…”

“It looks like the era of peaceful coexistence in the underground world is about to disappear…”

“What the heck, did Dickens actually send a kid to his death…”

“Sigh, my shop is doomed…”

The onlookers seemed to think that the scar-faced man and his lackeys had the upper hand.

The bosses behind Dickens began to sweat profusely. After all, they were not Beastmasters, and as a result, they could not distinguish which side was stronger.

Locke sized up the large cockroach. “You people are no different from cockroaches…”

His large cockroach had been frozen solid!

“My Battle Beast!” The lackey rushed forward to hug his frozen cockroach!

However, the cockroach shattered into pieces of broken ice, and before long, they had melted into small puddles.

“Move aside, you piece of garbage!” The scar-faced man kicked his lackey aside and summoned his own Battle Beast.

His Battle Beast shone with an orange glow!

It was a gargoyle with bloodshot eyes!

“Crap…”

“This Battle Beast is terrifying. I don’t even dare to look at it directly…”

“He slaughtered several elite rank Battle Beasts before this…”

The scar-faced man was an accomplished veteran who had encountered several Battle Beasts before. “Little b*stard! Although your Battle Beast is of the rare spatial element, my Battle Beast is epic rank! Let me give you a piece of advice. If you surrender now, you’ll at least be able to live. No one in the underground world will come to your defense…”

“Is that so? That’s pretty bad… For you, that is.” Locke retorted.

“You’re courting death!” The gargoyle received its masters orders and it spread its wings. Its face became even more ferocious and it began to accumulate mana as if it prepared to unleash its skill.

As they were located in a zone that was densely packed with buildings, Locke would most likely destroy the buildings if he were to call out Lil’ Flame.

After giving it some thought, Locke said, “Get rid of this guy for me. Make sure not to harm any bystanders while doing so…”

Lil’ White’s eyes flashed red in the dark.

Immediately after receiving its master’s order, Lil’ White teleported before the gargoyle and lashed out at it!

The scar-faced man was caught off guard!

His gargoyle could not react in time, and as a result, Lil’ White had torn it in half!

Lil’ White had defeated an epic rank beast in a single blow!

It did not even use any of its skills!

The scar-faced man hurriedly retreated. He knew that he had come across an expert!

“Quick! Summon your Battle Beasts and attack him together! Kill him!”

As his lackeys were all exiled Beastmasters, they had no where else to turn to, and they had no other choice but to hold their ground and fight!

In an instant, over 200 Battle Beasts filled the area!

Their strength and quality were varied!

Some were of green quality, whereas some were of blue quality, and a small number of them were of purple quality.

There were even one or two orange quality beasts among them.

Dickens and the other underground bosses were scared out of their wits. They hurriedly retreated from the scene!

However, these beasts were no different than trash to Locke!

“Light and Dark Spatial Slash!” Locke mentally ordered.

Lil’ White accumulated mana!

Locke was not stingy at all with his mana!

He had ordered Lil’ White to unleash twenty-odd ice wheels!

A few minutes later, amidst the exclamations of the onlookers…

200-ish ice sculptures had appeared on the street!

“Oh my God! What is this…”

“Run!”

The intruders who had survived immediately tried to flee!

However, after taking a few steps forward, they suddenly heard a hissing sound behind them.

They turned around to see a two-headed snake glaring viciously at them.

The two-headed snake quickly grabbed two of the intruders and brought them to its master.

The two of them stared in terror at the cold face that was looking down on them. They constantly kowtowed and begged, “We were wrong. Please don’t kill us…”

“I’m an exiled Beastmaster. I only followed him from Gold City because there was no way for me to survive…”

Dickens and the others were ecstatic. They came forward and expressed their gratitude one after another.

“Mr. Locke! You’re really amazing!”

“You’re truly the strongest Beastmaster within the Holy City…”

Dickens once again stopped these people, “Alright! Mr. Locke will consider it! You guys should focus on recovering your land first! Don’t forget! 6th Street will belong to me from now on! We have an agreement, remember!”

It turned out that this guy had already negotiated the terms with everyone beforehand.

Usually, Locke would have already beaten him up!

However, the calm and mature[1] Locke quickly thought of an idea to take advantage of the situation.

Back in Dickens’ office, the two captives from before were still kneeling on the ground.

Locke was sitting on Dickens’ leather chair while Dickens himself served him coffee.

“Sir! Meeting you is the greatest blessing of my life!”

Although Dickens was a little cunning, he was extremely obedient to Locke. After taking the cup of coffee, Locke ordered, “Tell them to bring over the blue liquid…”

Dickens was like an Emperor’s attendant. His expression immediately changed upon turning around. He glared at the two kneeling captives and barked, “Didn’t you hear Mr. Locke? Bring out your Boosters!”

The two guys brought out small bottle sfilled with blue liquid from their pockets.

Dickens turned back to Locke.

He gingerly placed the Booster bottles on Locke’s hands.

After taking a look at it, Locke was certain that it was the same liquid that the Daemon Fang soldiers had used.

“How effective is this thing?”
