Chapter 108: Mind’s Eyes Blades!

Clement’s twin blades were like magnets, and they had consistently predicted John’s shots’ trajectories.

“Hahaha, you’ll regret making me your enemy…” After blocking a few more bullets, Clement flung his twin blades forward.

As if they had eyes, the two blades wrapped around John and hurtled towards him from behind!

“Clang!”

It was all John could do to intercept the blades with his guns!

However, the two blades did not stop there. After the first collision, they immediately drew back and attacked John once again!

John was at a disadvantage in melee fights. He needed to gain distance, and thus, he needed to strike down the two blades as soon as possible!

However, the blades took a defensive stance in the air and deflected all of John’s bullets!

“How!?” John suddenly noticed that the two blades had some kind of clairvoyant ability!

Clement, who was off in the distance, laughed loudly. “I believe you’ve also noticed that my Battle Beast is an Equipment-type, and that it can predict its enemies’ moves! To a Beastmaster like you who relies on firearms and is bad in melee combat, your fate is sealed!”

It was a rather unfortunate situation. Additionally, John had yet to recover from his injuries from the duel. He was in quite a pickle!

“Don’t worry, my master only requested me to dish out a minor punishment. As such, I won’t kill you!” Clement said with a relaxed expression.

The speed and strength of the two blades became fiercer and fiercer!

John’s skills required a certain amount of time to accumulate power, and since Clement’s blades were constantly interrupting his casting, John could only stay on the defensive!

The students were gradually surrounding the scene.

He immediately looked in the direction of Flying Flash and he noticed that John had already disappeared!

“I can’t believe that the old man is still sitting on the toilet. Instructor John, don’t push yourself, especially since your wounds have yet to heal. Can’t you call the three directors for help?”

John, who was brought to safety by Locke’s Twin-headed White Jade Snake, sighed, “Sorry for troubling you again, Locke…”

A young man in a silver robe slowly approached Clement, and Clement immediately understood that the young man was the master of the snake.

“Are you Locke?” The family spy had already done a background check on Locke, and the young man before him had matched the descriptions that was provided.

However, Locke did not answer him. Instead, he raised his head to look at the damaged wall of the lighthouse and said, “These bricks have been blown to pieces by you. It’s not easy to repair them! You have to pay for it!”

Locke’s response had caught Clement off guard for a moment. However, he quickly regained his focus and sneered, “Hmph, I’m just teaching you people a lesson. You need to respect my master more!”

Clement’s words had baffled Locke. He asked, “Who are you? Your master has nothing to do with me! Oh wait… Are you from the Freddy family?”

“It’s Frank!!” Clement frowned and corrected him.

Looking at this bald man who was about forty years old, Locke said, “This lighthouse has a very long history, and it can even be considered to be an artifact! How about this then, pay the academy 30 million, and I’ll allow you to leave!”

‘What kind of repairs would require 30 million coins to accomplish? Also, what does he mean by this building being an artifact?’

‘It was clearly built seven or eight years ago!’

Under Clement’s control, the two blades hurtled towards Locke!

Lil’ White’s eyes sparkled, and it immediately activated its skill, Freezing Arrival!

However, the twin blades had completely predicted this attack, and the blades nimbly dodged the barrage of icicles!

The shield that was morphed from Infinite Fire Element had intercepted the blades.

Its transformation was so fast that even the blades could not predict it.

“You’re good, kid! You’re pretty fast!” Clement was no longer looking down on Locke.

“Mind’s Eye Blade!” Clement roared. He was serious now.

Flying Slashers flashed with a golden light, and under Clement’s command, they launched forward once more!

“Whoa, they’re fast!” Their speed was so fast that even Locke was surprised.

“Lil’ Flame!”

The Infinite Fire Elemental shield became taller and wider, and it completely shielded Locke’s body!

Lil’ White had also unleashed its most powerful ability, Light and Dark Spatial Slash!

A few ice wheels spun towards the twin blades!

Surprisingly, however, the two blades had once again predicted the trajectory of Lil’ White’s skills and dodged them! Moreover, upon striking Locke’s flame shield, they caused an explosion!

“Ha!!”

Clement shouted loudly, and the speed of the twin blades increased! They were constantly attacking Locke’s shield!
