Chapter 5 - Nearly Teased until His Legs Weakened

Ji Liao succeeded in losing sleep that night again because He Cheng Ming didn’t reply to his WeChat message!

Throughout the night, his mind was filled with the consequences of offending the school bully. He felt very afraid at the thought of being harassed by various bad classmates, or even being dragged to an alley to get beaten up.

After breakfast, Ji Liao left the house shivering.

When he walked to the bus stop, he saw the tall and conspicuous youth at a glance. He was half-carrying his school bag and leaning indifferently against the bus stop with earphones in his ears, listening to music.

Ji Liao’s heart jumped. He didn’t expect He Cheng Ming to still come today. After all, he was so angry yesterday that he didn’t reply to his message!

Ji Liao walked over and stood beside him, yet the person was deep in thought and failed to notice him.

Slightly embarrassed, he kicked a pebble over. The pebble hit He Cheng Ming’s shoe, spun around and stopped.

Only then did he withdraw from his emotional state and saw Ji Liao. In a flash, his originally indifferent face revealed a smile.

Ji Liao couldn’t help but be dazed. Even as a guy, he felt that He Cheng Ming was very handsome. Although compared with his exquisite facial features, his unrestrained temperament seemed to be more noticeable. Moreover, when a person with such a temperament laughed, it was simply criminal. He even felt like the other party was trying to seduce him.

He Cheng Ming did not perceive Ji Liao’s envious gaze as he only regarded the redness in his eyes. He knew it was the result of lacking sleep. Feeling his heart ache, he asked, “Didn’t sleep well last night?”

Ji Liao didn’t want to tell him that he had insomnia, so he changed the topic instead. “I thought you wouldn’t come today.”

He Cheng Ming failed to understand. “Eh? Why?”

“Because you didn’t reply to my WeChat last night. I thought you were angry.” His voice was gloomy.

He Cheng Ming suddenly felt elated. Bending over until his face was right in front of Ji Liao, he reassured, “I will never get angry at you.”

His voice was clear and magnetic. Ji Liao’s heart throbbed. He felt that if he was a girl, he would probably surrender right then.

“…Well, we’re not familiar with each other and have never interacted. How on earth did you come to…like me?” Ji Liao’s voice became smaller as he spoke but blinked expectantly while waiting for an answer.

A glint of fascination flashed within He Cheng Ming’s eyes, but his face quickly changed to a smiling one. Deliberately keeping him in suspense, he said, “If you agree, I’ll tell you.”

Ji Liao was confused. “Agree on what?”

He Cheng Ming smirked at him. “What do you think?”

Ji Liao seemed to have thought of it as his face flushed red.

The effect of saying it in person was more lethal than saying it through WeChat. Ji Liao, who was quickly flustered, saw the bus approach in front of them and ran to it in a panic. He Cheng Ming smiled indulgently and held his hand in time. “It’s the one behind, fool.”

Ji Liao: “…”

He felt like he would die of shame on the spot.

Because he was too humiliated, he hadn’t realised He Cheng Ming holding his hand until they got onto the bus. Two girls pointed at them and exclaimed excitedly, “Hey look! It’s a couple!”

Ji Liao reacted and pulled his hand away in shock, as his innocent face expressed regret and shyness.

This look made He Cheng Ming’s heart unbearably itchy and he couldn’t resist flirting with him in a low voice, “What are you afraid of? Sooner or later, we will hold hands, hug, kiss, make — love…”

The voice beside his ear was charming as well as hoarse and the last two words made Ji Liao tremble all over.

During their conversation, the bus gradually filled with people. He Cheng Ming silently encircled Ji Liao into his arms, using his body as a strong barricade. So when Ji Liao couldn’t endure his lewd words and wanted to escape, he discovered that…he couldn’t escape???

With a flushed face, he glared at He Cheng Ming. Right then, He Cheng Ming realised that his little cutie was really thin-skinned. With only a little provocation, he became so bashful that his ears and neck turned red.

“Okay, I won’t say anything else. Don’t move.” He laughed to pacify him.

Ji Liao was still sulking! In his heart, he felt that this person was shameless, but he was even more annoyed at his own lack of self-control, having been nearly teased until his legs weakened!!
