Chapter 47 - You Don’t Know the Reason I Didn’t Invite You?

At the KTV, only Lin Jiang and two other guys remained.

The two guys had arrived together, so before they left, they asked him anxiously, “Have you called home?”

Lin Jiang waved his hand impatiently, indicating that they were nagging and to leave quickly.

Call? Like hell he would. If his father saw him like this, he would be hung up and beaten!

Earlier, he had downed a few bottles of alcohol, and now his head hurt. He wanted to recover before deciding what to do next.

Once the others left, the room quietened. After the bustle, it now became desolate.

Lin Jiang lay dejectedly on the sofa and took out his phone. He scrolled through it, and except for He Cheng Ming, there was no one else he could trust on the list — they were all fair-weather friends.

He expelled a breath and threw his phone aside.

Closing his eyes, he dozed off.

Gu Ming Ren lowered his body and sat on the edge of the glass table with his gaze still on him. “What misunderstanding?”

Lin Jiang answered, “The misunderstanding that I like guys. But I’m really straight. I like types like Meng Yao Yao — good-looking, good personality and big-breasted. Yes, I like big breasts!”

The moment he said he liked Meng Yao Yao, Gu Ming Ren became very annoyed. Subconsciously, he took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth, then felt for his lighter. It wasn’t there. At once, Lin Jiang brought the one provided for free in the room to him in a henchman-like manner.

Gu Ming Ren finished his cigarette and pushed the butt into an empty beer can. He thought to himself, I want to do you of course.

But he knew that he shouldn’t say that yet. Lin Jiang’s grades were poor, but his mind was sharp. Like now, although he was verbally amenable, he was stubborn and kept thinking of how to escape from him. So he said cunningly, “Well, you didn’t invite me to join today so I’m not happy. Make me happy and I’ll let you go.”

He scolded to his heart’s content but still had to face reality.

“Haha, Gu Shao, do you sing?”

Gu Ming Ren had a cold expression on his face.

“Then I’ll sing you a song?”

He frowned.

“Then I’ll tell you a joke.”

He got up and took off his coat.

“Then move your mouth,” he said in a hoarse voice.

When he moved away, his mouth smelled of smoke, making him frown. He asked, “Okay, happy now?!”

Lin Jiang left without looking back and slammed the door shut.

When checking out, he was told that Gu Ming Ren had already settled the bill. He became angrier and threw down a handful of notes, saying loudly, “Tips!”

Then called for a taxi and left.

When Gu Ming Ren came out, he saw the back of the departed taxi.

He recalled the look of distaste on Lin Jiang’s face after the kiss and took out the cigarette box from his pocket. Staring at it for two beats, he sighed and threw it away.
