“My place has already finished remodeling.” Feng Zeyu had started with the remodeling ever since they had officially started dating. It wasn’t so much that he expected Shu Yan to move into his place, but that he felt that it was only right to have a presentable house now that he was married.

When Old Grandma found out about it, she said to Feng Zeyu, “Don’t worry about me. I am still mobile. You go over to Shu Yan’s. She is used to being there and then there are her two children. They would probably not get used to living here. If you are really worried, I will have my niece come stay with me. Her house is small, and she is still sleeping with her parents. I am sure she will be willing to come over. A girl is nice. She can keep me company and take care of me. It will be great.”

“Are you talking about the girl who’s a bit skinny with a single eyelid?” Feng Zeyu had seen that girl before. She was always very enthusiastic whenever she came over but, every time the old Grandmother turned around, she would look at Feng Zeyu as though he was her enemy.

That he was someone who was taking over her house. “Grandma…… that girl……” Feng Zeyu suddenly didn’t know what to say. That was the Old Grandmother’s niece. It was not nice to badmouth her.

The Old Grandma had been around the block a few times and had seen many people. She knew what went on in the girl’s mind. She patted Feng Zeyu’s hand, smiled, and said, “It’s just me left and this house is the only thing that others care about. It is just materialistic goods to me. I was going to leave the house to you but, you are a competent one and leaving this house to you will bring you more harm than good. So, I am not going to leave it to you. I will sell the house and donate the money for kids who can’t afford to go to school before I die.”

Feng Zeyu still didn’t like the idea of having Old Grandma’s niece over. Even if she needed companionship, she should pick someone who didn’t have ulterior motives. Being home alone with her, if she had any bad thoughts and caused some kind of accident, that would be the end of it.

“What are you worried about? Let’s just move over there.” Shu Yan actually quite like that house. They stayed where they were in the past because it was more convenient for the children to go to school. Now that JingJing and Tianbao had transferred over to Nanshan Grade School, it didn’t matter where they lived.

The house that she bought came with a bathroom. All it was missing was air-conditioning and a washing machine. Once they added the appliances, it would be more comfortable than a condominium.

The flowers in the backyard were blooming and they could smell the flowers when they opened the window every day. Shu Yan felt that she had even gained some weight.

“Did I gain some weight?” asked Shu Yan while standing in front of a mirror.

“Not at all!” Feng Zeyu looked at her left and right. He didn’t feel that she had picked up weight. Quite the contrary, he liked her a little bit meatier.

Shu Yan glanced over at him. He never agreed with her dieting at night. Per his belief, being able to eat was a kind of happiness. She should go to bed with a full belly.

“We are not going to talk about this anymore. We promised the children to take them on a trip over the summer vacation. Do you have any ideas where to go?” Shu Yan pulled the map out and planned to have the kids chime in.

“No.” The places that Feng Zeyu wanted to visit, such as Huashan Mountain, were all relatively dangerous. They were not suitable for Shu Yan or the children.

“Hu Ruixue mentioned about going overseas last time and that there are some very scenic places. Let me go check with her tomorrow.” Shu Yan felt that she could take the kids overseas and experienc other customs and cultures.

The two children’s eyes beamed when they heard about going overseas.

They picked out a few countries preliminarily. Shu Yan planned to do some research first and could ask Hu Ruixue for details later.
