“What are you afraid of? He’s just someone out of town. We don’t need to worry about him not giving in when there are so many of us.” The hunter who was wounded found it difficult to let this go.

There was a clang and dozens of guards pulled out their swords at the same time.

All of the hunters were scared silly as they quickly took a few steps back.

The wounded hunter gulped. The anger within him subsided from fear and he stammered, “Who…who are you?”

“Answer my question. How does that boy look like?” Long Yang stared at him and asked in a growl.

The hunter flinched from Long Yang’s intimidating manner and did not dare delay his answer as he was also surrounded by swords. He quickly replied, “He looked like he had nice skin and was tender-looking. He was good-looking, much like a lady.”

“Does he look like the person in this picture?” Long Yang displayed a painting in front of them.

The hunters looked at each other after seeing the beautiful young lady inside the painting.

It was clearly a boy they saw at Green Spear Mountain, but this was a girl in the painting…

Strange looks appeared on their faces, but due to that man’s intimidation, they did not dare to take this lightly and began looking at the painting closely.

“That boy was wearing men’s clothes. Even though he had nice skin and looked tender, he isn’t as good-looking as the person in this painting. Although, those eyes…”

Long Yang’s heart skipped with hope. He was afraid he had made the wrong guess and the boy these hunters had mentioned was not Ji’er.

He had a vague feeling from their conversation before that the boy they were talking about must be Ji’er, whom they had failed to find. However, judging by the reaction of those hunters, he was worried that this was just another empty hope.

The hunters began thinking carefully about this and suddenly exclaimed, “That’s right. That boy’s eyes looked quite like the girl in this painting.”

“Is he this tall?” Joy flashed in Long Yang’s eyes as he quickly gestured a height.

“Yes, yes. That boy is about that height,” the hunters immediately replied affirmatively.

“Do you know where he stays?” Long Yang’s voice calmed down as he clenched his fingers, which revealed how nervous he was.

“Yes, we do!” The hunters burst out. That boy was a good hunter and his goods sold quickly every time he brought them to the market. The hunters had their eyes on him for quite a while.

Otherwise, they would not have been able to block his way right on time today.

Long Yang gave those men a light glance when he heard this. He knew what was going through their minds.

Even though Ji’er had martial arts skills and it was easy for her to take care of these local bullies and ruffians, the thought of a girl like her being all alone in a strange place and getting bullied pained his heart.
