Chapter 74: Healing Little Uncle

“Mom, what little confidence you have in me!” Tan Mo pouted. “Of course, I won’t give Butler Zhou a difficult time.”

“Okay, okay!” Xu Mingzhen laughed and patted Tan Mo’s head. “If you need anything, or if you want anything, just give me a call, and I’ll have your brothers bring it to you. By the way, is there anything you want to eat?”

The college entrance examination was finally over. The Tan family would be having a feast to reward Tan Mo for her hard work.

The patient’s bed was connected to the living room. One could see it as soon as they entered the room.

This was mainly so the doctors and nurses could easily see the patient and administer treatments.

The bedroom was for the patient’s minder.

Tan Mo grabbed a chair and sat down beside Wei Zhiqian’s bed.

She did not dare to put her hand directly on Wei Zhiqian’s wound.

If Butler Zhou returned and saw that she was touching We Zhiqian’s wound, he might misunderstand. Tan Mo would have no way of explaining herself.

Tan Mo held Wei Zhiqian’s hand in one hand. She then stretched out her other hand to smooth out the crease on his brows.

Then, she held Wei Zhiqian’s hand with both hands.

Wei Zhiqian looked very calm, and his eyelashes were long and thick.

Under the light, his nose bridge was well defined, and deep shadows were cast on his face.

Tan Mo could not help but mutter, “I wonder what my little aunt will be like…”

Tan Mo looked at Wei Zhiqian in surprise, then asked, “Great-grandma is urging Little Uncle to marry soon?”

When Tan Mo was done eating, someone came to take away the tableware and clean up.

Tan Mo returned to Wei Zhiqian’s side and continued to heal him.

To Butler Zhou, Tan Mo held Wei Zhiqian’s hand in prayer. She was praying for his speedy recovery and that he woke up soon.

Butler Zhou secretly took a picture of the two and sent it to the Wei family’s elders.

“Mo Mo is so caring,” the Old Madam said as she looked at the photo. She was relieved that someone dear was watching over her grandson.

Tan Mo really stayed to take care of Wei Zhiqian.

Wei Mingwen glanced at Xiao Menghan, pleased. “Zhiqian didn’t dote on Mo Mo for nothing.”

More than anything, Wei Zhiqian’s parents were grateful that Tan Mo had stayed to look after their son.

“Miss Mo Mo, you can rest. I will call you if there is something.” Butler Zhou noticed that it was already past eleven o’clock.

Tan Mo shook her head. However, by this time, she had transferred a lot of energy to Wei Zhiqian and was feeling dizzy.

How could Butler Zhou leave Tan Mo here and rest?

When Butler Zhou saw her, he rushed over, wanting to take Tan Mo to the bedroom.

Unexpectedly, as he tried to break off Tan Mo’s and Wei Zhiqian’s intertwined hands, he couldn’t do it.
