Chapter 180: So Heartless

When Di Beiming saw that Yun Chujiu had withdrawn her hand, he felt a little empty in his heart. He withdrew his hand in embarrassment and turned his back to Yun Chujiu without saying a word.

Yun Chujiu’s little heart pounded for a while. She muttered a few words in her heart. Lust was emptiness, emptiness was lust. Then, she fell asleep without a care in the world.

Hearing Yun Chujiu’s steady breathing, Di Beiming turned around and looked at Yun Chujiu angrily. He scolded her in a low voice, “What a heartless person!”

Although he said that, he reached out and pulled Yun Chujiu over. Then, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Ever since the shift started, everyone was very conscious of it. Therefore, Elder Huang did not ring the bell every morning and Yun Chujiu got to sleep very soundly. It was not until the sun rose high that Yun Chujiu opened her eyes in a daze. She saw Di Beiming staring at her, seemingly smiling.

Could it be that she was drooling? Yun Chujiu quickly wiped her chin with her hand.

When she realized that there was nothing, she smiled brightly. “Good morning, Prince Charming!”

When Di Beiming saw Yun Chujiu’s bright smile, he felt as if a flower was blooming in his heart. He said gently, “Good Morning, Black Thing!”

Yun Chujiu looked at Di Beiming’s eyes that were as bright as the stars. For some reason, her face turned red. She scrambled out of bed and said, “Well, I’m going to the kitchen to ‘borrow’ some breakfast.”

Yun Chujiu was about to run out when Di Beiming laughed out loud. “Black Thing, are you going out without your coat?”

Yun Chujiu laughed out loud and quickly put on her coat. Then, she hopped out of the house.

When she walked outside, Yun Chujiu used her hand to pat her slightly warm face. ‘Tsk tsk! Gigolo, your looks really bring disaster to the country and the people. Even though I have a heart of stone, I’m a little lustful!’

Yun Chujiu washed up briefly and then hopped into the big kitchen. Everyone had already finished their breakfast and was preparing lunch. Yun Chujiu strolled around and inadvertently ‘borrowed’ quite a lot of food. Everyone was very busy and there were a few pots of vegetables missing. Although they shouted a few words, no one took it seriously.

Yun Chujiu returned to the courtyard with satisfaction. When the rolling pin and Little Black saw that Yun Chujiu had returned, they pounced on her.

Di Beiming walked out of the house and snorted. Instantly, the two foodies went their separate ways, as if there was a wolf chasing after them!

Yun Chujiu curled her lips. ‘These two useless idiots, is there a need to be so afraid?!’

Then, the smile on her face blossomed. “Prince Charming, are you done washing up? I’ll set up breakfast, then you can eat.”

After having breakfast, Yun Chujiu asked, “Prince Charming, how many days do you plan to stay this time before you leave?”

Before Di Beiming could say anything, Yun Chujiu hurriedly added, “Prince Charming, don’t misunderstand. I’m not chasing you away, I’m just mentally preparing to accompany you.”

Di Beiming’s face that had just sunk suddenly turned bright. “It could be as short as three days, or as long as five days. I still have things to deal with.”

Yun Chujiu nodded. Then, she took out a small kitchen knife from her storage ring and was about to cut her arm.

Di Beiming was shocked and snatched the small kitchen knife away. “What are you doing?!”

Yun Chujiu was stunned. “Bleeding? Didn’t you have to use my blood to get rid of the cold?”

Di Beiming saw a shallow wound on Yun Chujiu’s arm. It was cut by Yun Chujiu when she saved him previously. His heart ached. “There’s no need to cut such a big wound even if you want to bleed. Give me your hand!”
