Chapter 17 - Suspicion

MinFeng was still awake after they had sex. He was very pleased with Feng Jiu's action. All through the night, he let Feng Jiu satisfy her curiosity towards his body, allowing her to touch him everywhere.

He looked at the wall clock and found out that it was still early, just barely passed three o'clock. He turned and looked at the woman who was currently nestling on his shoulder. She was sleeping deeply and comfortably in his arms, oblivious to the world. He stared at her for almost 30 minutes without moving, afraid that if he moves, her sleep might be disturbed, and she might wake up early.

He looked at her lips that was swollen red. His gaze moved downwards, towards her breasts. He saw tiny red dots all over it. Some were just newly made, some were old and ready to fade. There were also bite marks near her nipples.

His gazed continued to move downwards, towards Feng Jiu's cute curly hairs. One could obviously see that she had undergone an intense workout based on the swelling between her thighs, as if she was pounded endlessly by a drilling machine. Both of them were soaked with sweat and there was a putrid smell of sex inside the room.

MinFeng didn't like to see or feel dirty things. He really despised uncleanliness. Maybe that was the main reason why he didn't like to be touched by other people nor touch other people. If he saw those marks or feel that sticky sweat on another woman's body, he might have flipped and killed that woman instantly, but towards Feng Jiu, he was different. He viewed those marks as his pride, thinking that he had created a masterpiece on her precious body.

As much as he wanted to envelope her with his own sweat and smell, like a male dog marking his own territory, he didn't want to let her get sick because of being soaked with sweat.

MinFeng tried to stand up slowly, trying to minimize his actions to avoid waking Feng Jiu up. He went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. After showering, he went to the cabinet and took a small towel. He soaked it with water and squeezed it dry. He went back to the bed and careful wipe Feng Jiu's body. He had been doing this action since the beginning.

Being a young master of a prominent family, although he was living abroad to stand on his own from scratch, but since young, he was already accustomed to being served by the people that surrounds him and not the opposite. Aside from serving himself when he was living alone, he never really tried to serve someone else, but towards this idiotic woman, he was willing to serve her forever, like a loyal servants.

After wiping Feng Jiu thoroughly, he climbed up on the bed again and slowly hooking his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him. He hugged her tight and took a deep breath, inhaling her scent. Her scent that always made him lose control.

'Ahh... This is home.'

As usual, the whole morning, Feng Jiu was working at the office.

MinFeng, who was currently tidying the house received a call from Chen Hao.

"Boss, you have a schedule this evening at HuaRong with Mr. Xiu. I already confirmed it and he agreed."

"Okay. I'll be there at 8 pm."

MinFeng ended the call. He looked at the house that was sparkling clean. He nodded, as if he was pleased with himself. He immediately took a shower and left home.

8 pm, HuaRong Hotel

"Mr. Lu, I am glad that I finally meet you." Mr. Xiu stood up and went forward to shake MinFeng's hand.

"The pleasure is mine, Mr. Xiu." MinFeng took Mr. Xiu's hand and shook it.

"So, what does this famous Mr. Lu wants to personally meet a person like me?"

"Mr. Xiu is a very humorous man. Every business and transactions are best to discuss while eating."

"Hahaha. Indeed. Come. I already prepared a room for us. I hope this discussion would be beneficial for both parties."

Few Minutes ago at HuaRong Hotel…

"So, what does this famous Mr. Lu want to personally meet a person like me?"

"Mr. Xiu is a very humorous man. Every business and transactions are best to discuss while eating."

"Hahaha. Indeed. Come. I already prepared a room for us. I hope this discussion would be beneficial for both party."

When MinFeng and Mr. Xiu sat down, MinFeng immediately told him about his matter. "Lu Corporation will not participate in the upcoming Bidding Convention this June."

Mr. Xiu who was currently drinking wine almost spit everything because of shock. *coughs* "Mr. Lu, this is a bit surprising. Mind if I know the reason why?"

MinFeng did not reply. After 15 minutes of full silence, MinFeng grabbed his wine glass and drank.

"Let's just say that I am currently pursuing something that is more important than the upcoming Bidding Convention."

Mr. Xiu laughed.

"Pursuing something? Or someone?"

MinFeng smirked.

"It seems like I really can't hide anything from you. It looks like everyone was correct. You have keen eyes. Yes. I am currently pursuing someone at the meantime."

"Isn't pursuing someone unrelated to the upcoming Bidding Convention?"

Mr. Xiu was puzzled by MinFeng's decision. "Do I know who's that lucky woman? It seems like she's also in this line of business."

MinFeng laughed. "Indeed. She's one of us."

"Hahahah! I really wanted to know who she is. Can you tell this old man? I'm really curious towards that woman who was able to move the heart of a man like you."

Thinking of Feng Jiu, MinFeng smiled. His eyes carried an unspeakable tenderness. "She's unique. She's very different from those women who only knows how to seduce men and use their beauty to climb trees to become Phoenix."

"Mmmm..." Mr. Xiu nodded.

"She's very dedicated with her work. I sometimes feel depressed when I was being left alone and lonely."

Mr. Xiu was almost choked to death. 'Alone and lonely?! Is this guy really the Eldest Young Master of Lu Corporation?? Isn't he an emotionless bastard who only knows how to make money? But for a woman, he was willing to concede?'

Mr. Xiu suddenly wanted to kowtow to the woman MinFeng was taking a fancy with. "I am now really curious about your woman's identity."

Hearing the word 'your woman', MinFeng laughed as if he liked the words Mr. Xiu used.

"You know her. She's Feng Jiu of Feng International."

Again, Mr. Xiu almost choked to death. 'What?! That rumored Witch?!'

Mr. Xiu wanted to cry but lacked tears.'What a weird combination.'

After a few more discussions, MinFeng and Mr. Xiu decided to part ways. MinFeng and Mr. Xiu shook hands.

"I hope you succeed, Mr. Lu."

"I hope so too, Mr. Xiu."

Author's Side Note:

Hi guys. I wanted to post earlier but I was at the hospital so.... I'll just post this one first. I'll post the other three later at 11 pm Phil. Time.

As the story progresses, I wanted to apologize first to the readers.

As I've said before, a happy ending without pain and hardship is not a happy ending at all. How can you understand the word 'happiness' you don't even know what hardship is?

So yeah. They WILL FIGHT and FALL OUT. sooner or later.

Also, I wanted to show you that MinFeng and FengJiu are not Omnipotent Gods. They are also humans.

Humans have one weakness and that is what we call 'Emotion'. Because of emotion, people do stupid things and say stupid things. And love is the greatest emotion people can feel.

So don't get angry if they started to act stupid. I wanted to portray them not as a perfect human nor a perfect couple but as a normal couple who undergone trials to become strong.

Please don't kill meeee!!! Hahahah whatever you say, the story has been set. Even the ending has been decided soooo... I could only kowtow to you guys and prepare you in advance.

Don't worry. I assure you, I also hate sad endings.
