Feng Jiu was in a very bad mood this past few days. Not just because of MinFeng but also because of Lu Corporation.

Feng International has been flaring in the architectural bussiness for years. They dominate the entire construction of buildings and malls in Beijing and other places in China.

As Feng International was trying to enter the Western market, this year was very crucial for them, but this stupid Eldest Young Master of the Lu Corporation decided to expand their market and entered in Architectural Business and Designs, snatching every project that was intended for Feng International.

"Madam..."

Ming Yue knocked and went inside her office. She gave the reports to Feng Jiu and waited for her instructions. After reading the reports, Feng Jiu put the folders on the table.

"How was it? Did you get Mr. Xiu's schedule?"

"Mr. Xiu will be on HuaRong Hotel this Saturday evening."

"Enn. Prepare everything. I will personally speak to him regarding our next project."

"Yes Madam."

Ming Yue grabbed the folders and left.

Feng Jiu was determined to beat Lu Corporation this time. 'I have to be successful this time. There's no room for errors.'

After office hours, Feng Jiu went home afterwards. She saw MinFeng sitting on the sofa, watching TV. She went to the stairs and entered her room without paying attention to him.

MinFeng grimaced. His little kitten was starting to get rebellious, baring fangs at him.

Few minutes later, Feng Jiu did not return to the first floor, making MinFeng unable to hold back anymore. He stood up and went to Feng Jiu's room. He knocked a couple of times before opening the door. He saw Feng Jiu lying on the bed. Her back was facing him. She was wrapped with her blanket up to her neck. MinFeng sighed and went to her bed. He sat at the edge and raised his hand to touch Feng Jiu.

"Hey..."

Feng Jiu did not respond. She continued playing deaf.

"I'm sorry..."

Still, all he heard was silence. Feng Jiu did not even look back at him. MinFeng inwardly scratched his head. Seemed like he really had gone too far this time.

He lay beside her and hug her tight. "I'm sorry..." he murmured.

Even if he was unable to make Feng Jiu talk, MinFeng continued speaking.

"I'm sorry for tricking you this past few days. I know, I've been very naughty towards you."

Feng Jiu moved a little. Getting a tiny response, MinFeng inwardly felt delighted.

"Can you forgive me? I won't do it again. I promise." MinFeng intertwined their fingers while smelling her scent at the back of her neck.

"Feng Jiu..."

Feng Jiu stiffened.

"Feng Jiu... Look at me."

MinFeng turned her body to face him. Both of their eyes meet each other. MinFeng stared at her intensely.

"Feng Jiu.. Can you forgive me?" He asked again as he caressed her face.

"I'm sorry too." Feng Jiu grabbed his hand that was on her left cheek.

"I'm not really angry at you... It's just that... I want to be careful. I don't want to have any problems in the near future."

MinFeng's eyes darkened. 'Maybe I was a little too fast. I really scared her.'

"Mmm.. I promise I won't do it again. So, will you forgive me?"

Feng Jiu bit her lower lip.Few seconds later, she slowly nod her head.

Seeing that Feng Jiu had already forgiven him, MinFeng could finally breathe. He hugged her tight as if trying to squeeze her inside his body. "I promise. No more trickery. And I will.... I will wear a condom."

Feng Jiu giggled when she saw MinFeng's dejected face. "No need.. I'll take pills."

He looked at her without changing his pitiful expression but deep inside, he was cursing those people who invented pills and condoms. She grabbed his cheeks and squeezed it with great enthusiasm.

"Humpf. If I know, you might already have tampered the condoms. Heh. I know you."

MinFeng coughed, his face was full of denial, but his eyes betrayed everything. "Why would I do things as shameless as that?"

Feng Jiu just rolled her eyes.

After MinFeng used every effort to indirectly convince Feng Jiu that he would behave like a docile pet, they mutually agreed that he would sleep beside her as long as he wouldn't climb above her without her permission.

MinFeng wanted to retort.

'This is basically a form of torture!' MinFeng inwardly cried. He had been starving like crazy for days. How would he endure being with her without touching even the edge of her clothes?

But he decided to retreat in order to advance[1], and there are many tricks he could use to reach his goal. MinFeng knew that in order to catch a fish, the bait must be served 'hot', and thus, MinFeng's Operation: 'Seduction' commenced. And now, he was on the move.

MinFeng just got out of the bathroom and he intentionally walked past her, displaying his packs of abs, blinding the poor Feng Jiu. Drops of water were flowing on his body. He looked like he was shooting a commercial.

Feng Jiu gulped. Her eyes followed MinFeng's every move after he went out of the shower. She suddenly felt hot, making her squirm in discomfort. 'Whew! Is the aircon not working?'

Feng Jiu fanned herself frantically.

I believe that there's no such thing as a perfect love story. Trials and hardships are part of every story that each couple must face.
