Chapter 88: A Refreshing Fight

“Luo Yunzhu! Ahhh! Just you wait.”

“Wench! Ahh! I’ll kill you.”

“Help! Save me! Ahh! You sl*t…” Agony seeped into Feng Xiuyu’s cries for help and furious bellows. With no spiritual force left within her, she was defenseless against Luo Yunzhu’s whipping. The most she could manage was to curl into a ball, protecting her newly-healed face with her arms.

“Third Miss!” exclaimed her shocked servants. They were all stunned for a second but immediately recovered. They rushed over and tried to rescue Feng Xiuyu.

“Beat them up, Chuling,” Feng Tianlan instructed solemnly. “Use the technique I taught you.”

“Yes,” Chuling replied. With great force, she grabbed a servant by the arm, who was swinging a sizeable wooden stick. She pulled him over and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying through the air. Then, she snatched the wooden stick from his hand and, without sparing a single glance, swung it at the incoming men. She took a man down with every blow—she showed them not one drop of mercy.

For the past ten years, not only had they endured the Second Miss’ humiliation and bullying, but these bootlicking servants had also doubled down on making their lives miserable. Thanks to their meanness, the First Miss had lived a life worse than a servant.

Why should she be humiliated and bullied by them then? Being servants, they were not that different. No one person was more esteemed than another.

If she could not step up her game and was too timid to punch a few mere servants, how could she ever protect her lady? She would even die for her lady. Surely, she could beat up several servants.

Painful screams echoed across the Heavenly Phoenix Court. The cries were eerily terrifying.

The captain of the Feng Manor Guards was immediately alerted of the stir and quickly rushed over with the guards. When they arrived, they saw Feng Xiuyu hugging her knees on the ground, curled into a ball. Her voice had gone hoarse from all the screaming and yelling. There were also sounds of her weeping as the red-clad Luo Yunzhu gave her a good whipping. The excitement that filled her face was evident.

Five or six servants rolled on the ground and groaned in pain. Chuling had beaten them up so badly that blood streamed down their faces.

“Second Miss!” the captain of the guard bellowed in a fury. He unleashed a piercing and thunderous strike at Luo Yunzhu.

Feng Tianlan’s figure blurred. In an instant, she reappeared in front of Luo Yunzhu, shielding her with her body. Channeling tremendous Spiritual Qi into her palm, she pushed her own palm out toward the captain’s outstretched palm strike.

Boom!

Two powerful spiritual forces clashed, igniting ripples after ripples of remnant energy waves that almost distorted the void. It was as if there’d just been an explosion.

The overpowering energy forced Feng Tianlan to slide backward. Her feet created a deep, long groove on the limestone ground. Surprisingly, the captain of the guard also stumbled back a few steps. Realizing what had happened, he snapped up and looked at her with great shock.

Luo Yunzhu quickly took her arm and supported her weight. She called her name with slight worry, “Tianlan.”

“I’m fine.” Feng Tianlan took a deep breath and exhaled. The strength of the palm strike was still too powerful for her to take head-on. She must have suffered internal injuries.

Chuling stopped her attack. She ran to Feng Tianlan only to stop beside Feng Xiuyu, who was howling in pain and still curled on the ground. She raised the wooden stick and brought it down with all her strength. “Serves you right for bullying my lady!”

After dealing that extra blow, she hurried to Feng Tianlan’s side and straightened her back. She looked entirely refreshed.

Now that her Miss has become so strong, she must not remain weak!

From now on, she would beat up anyone her lady told her to, no matter who they were. Even if she were likely to lose, she would fight anyone or anything!

“First Miss, how could you wreak havoc at the Heavenly Phoenix Court? If word gets around, the Clan Head and the Mistress will never let this slide.” Butler Zhu had also been knocked back quite some distance. He held his breath in annoyance.

Someone helped Feng Xiuyu to the side as she sobbed breathlessly. With red eyes, she glared at Luo Yunzhu and ordered vengefully, “Butler Zhu, take down these three sl*ts. I want them to suffer a fate worse than death! Worse than death!”

“No one here is sl*ttier than you!” Luo Yunzhu waved the soft whip in her hand and replied. “I’ve only whipped you a little over a dozen times, and you know what? I’m far from satisfied.”
