Chapter 908: The fifth level of Divine Realm

The tides surged, and the waves crashed.

The eternal river of time rippled endlessly, with waves crashing and surging to great heights. In the illusionary river, the voice of the Time King echoed like a thunderclap, awakening a primordial behemoth lying across the endless river. The beast roared, creating earth-shattering waves.

In the surging waves of time, the Xiayas in the illusory past were struggling to swim towards the “present” through their space-time ability. Similarly, the Xiayas from the future were also heading back towards the “present”. The past selves were waiting for the even more past selves, while the future selves were waiting for even more future selves.  Then, at a specific point in time, each Xiaya gathered together through their space-time ability, and like individuals from parallel universes, they began to fuse together and then continued to move forward towards a common destination.

“Let’s go, let’s move towards the ‘present’ together.”

“Let’s go together, let’s go together.”

“I’ve been waiting for this for so long.”

As these figures continue to swim towards the “present,” their power continued to increase due to the fusion, while their numbers decreased, constantly assimilating until they gradually became one.

The sound of rushing water echoed in their ears. When the “present” time point was within reach, there were only three Xiaya left on the entire timeline: the past Xiaya, the present Xiaya, and the future Xiaya.

Time King’s starry eyes flickered, and her lips parted slightly. It was as if a supreme deity had made a judgment, as soon as she spoke, the space-time above the Time Realm stirred with great turbulence, causing massive waves to rise.

“What…What’s coming?” Android 18 asked, confused.

Time King and Universe King smiled without saying a word, only looking up in anticipation.

Majin Buu and Android 18 stood on one side, and as they gazed in shock, the twelve illusory three phases of space-time seemed to undergo a division that echoed through ancient epochs. Tiny cracks began to appear on the surface, which grew larger and larger until they suddenly shattered into countless sparkling star fragments that drifted like snowflakes through the air.

Following the collapse of the three phases of space-time, four dazzling miniature spheres reappeared in their original positions. Compared to before, these four spheres seemed to have undergone no changes.

However, whether in Android 18’s eyes or in Majin Buu’s eyes, they both felt that something had changed.

As soon as these two Xiaya appeared, they saw their original body sitting below and smiled at each other before transforming into two streams of light and flying towards their original body on the ground.

Seated cross-legged below, Xiaya’s brows furrowed slightly as his body suddenly burst forth with countless brilliant rays of light, like a small sun emitting an intense radiance.

“Next is the crucial moment, as long as it is successful, Xiaya will step into the fifth level of the Divine Realm.” Looking at Xiaya, whose whole body was emitting dazzling radiance, Mavis chuckled softly.

Fusing with the past, absorbing the future, as long as this step is completed, Xiaya will completely break free from the timeline.

This is what a God of Time must do to ascend to the fifth level of the Divine Realm and it is an essential step.

Because any of his self who exists in the past is actually a potential unstable factor for the God of Time, who has mastered the space-time ability. The laws of time are the most elusive, and facing the laws of time and space, even people as powerful as Zeno, Great Priest, and others seemed insignificant, and anything unreasonable or beyond comprehension could happen.

When God of Time is in the fourth level of the Divine Realm, they converge all their other selves from parallel universes and unify them into one at the current time point. This is actually a form of self-protection, meant to more reasonably safeguard the various parallel universes.

However, this convergence is only at the current time point and cannot cover the entire timeline.

So, if someone uses a time machine or uses the space-time ability to travel to the past at some point, it would fundamentally affect the existence of the God of Time.

Although due to the existence of space-time laws, any actions involving time travel will only create a new parallel universe and will not affect existing ones, and their other self of the newly created parallel universe will soon merge into the body of the God of Time due to the fourth level of the Divine Realm. However, there are often methods such as “Extinction,” the power of Time King, and the power of Order that can to some extent avoid the creation of parallel universes, allowing others to travel freely on the real timeline.

Just as the Time King and Universe King did in this instance.

So, it is possible for certain deities to travel through time and kill their enemies before they have matured.

The fifth level of the Divine Realm, jumping out of the timeline, is a way to elevate oneself to counteract this technique.

He saw the future, his struggling self working hard.

He saw the present, his motionless self standing majestically.

But all of this changed when all his selves merged together.

His past self disappeared completely, replaced by an illusory figure, just like when he had used “Extinction” on Frieza, causing his past self to no longer truly exist, but there was a difference between him and Frieza. Xiaya could descend to the past at any time, which means that every past self was actually a projection of his “present” self.

At the same time, the future also changed. His future selves completely disappeared and this was a real disappearance.

Since the future is already filled with infinite possibilities, like a small river constantly branching out, ultimately uncertain of the direction where it would flow. Under the condition of time convergence, the future that never happened holds no significance in Xiaya’s eyes at this moment.
