Chapter 898: Rescuing Buu

Great Demon General never expected the gods of the Time Realm to discover the location of this world so quickly. Faced with the sudden arrival of Season and Time, the Great Demon General murmured for a moment before conjuring a wave of energy and rushing out of the underground palace.

Auspicious clouds were floating, while a gentle breeze blew by.

Season and Time gazed down at the continent below, which had already become unrecognizable. Their eyes glinted with a cold light, and soon a dark golden figure rushed over. Great Demon General appeared before them, standing tall and firm. In a flash, three terrifying energies clashed together, as if a divine light had illuminated the sky and swept across it with a force that shook the ancient world. The endless power caused the space to rumble as cracks constantly appeared.

God of Seasons opened her stunning, flawless silver eyes and spoke in a cold, clear voice.

“I never thought that the person left behind in the mortal world would be you. It seems that the person behind this is clear. Release the clones of the Great Demon God immediately, or we will have to suppress you.”

Upon hearing Season’s emotionless voice, the Great Demon General’s face darkened. “I’m surprised that the people of the Time Realm have found this place so quickly. However, you are mistaken if you think I will release the clones of the Great Demon God. Strictly speaking, the clones cannot really be considered to be part of your Time Realm. Are you really going to try and stop me?”

“Disturbing the order of space-time, wantonly traversing worlds to capture the clones of the Great Demon God, and the fact that you secretly imprisoned the Great Demon God, these are all crimes punishable by death!”

Season’s face gradually grew colder, a strand of silver-white hair fluttering in mid-air. She wasn’t polite when speaking to the Great Demon General.

Great Demon God holds a very special position in the Time Realm. Although he was similarly at the fifth level of Divine Realm, his status is slightly above that of Season and Time. Thus, the actions of the Original King and the Great Demon General are seen as a direct challenge to the authority of the Time Realm.

The order of the Angel Realm, the causality of Time Realm, and the foundation of the current world were all absolute authorities that cannot be challenged. Those who touch them shall die!

“Hmph!”

Great Demon General’s gaze flickered between Season and Time, his entire body on high alert as if he could strike at any moment.

After a brief standoff, it seemed that the other side had no intention of releasing Majin Buu. Before Season could speak, Time’s face grew colder and he took a large step forward and said, “There’s no need to waste words with him anymore. Since he is unwilling to do as we say, we can only use force.”

Time was much less polite than Season and immediately charged towards the Great Demon General.

With things having reached this point, it was clear that further discussion would not lead to a resolution. Season let out a helpless chuckle and turned her attention to Time God, who was already locked in combat with the Great Demon General, and also joined the fray.

The battle between three experts at the peak of the fifth level of Divine Realm instantly caused the weather and landscape of the entire world to change dramatically. A frigid wind swept out in all directions, while chaotic energy was floating wildly. The whole world trembled as the space gradually broke apart.

Bang! Invisible soundwaves shattered the space, leaving behind deep and terrifying cracks.

A powerful wind capable of tearing open the sky descended and the Great Demon General appeared shaken, his dark golden divine robe covered with various tears. A trickle of blood escaped from the corner of his mouth, his gaze flickering, and he couldn’t help but feel his heart sink.

Season and Time are among the few experts in the Time Realm, possessing formidable power that is second only to the Great Heaven Official and the Great Demon God.  If it were just one of them, the Great Demon General might have stood a chance at victory. But with the two of them joining forces, he could not possibly withstand their attacks alone. Faced with this realization, he was already contemplating retreating.

However, retreating so easily left him feeling dissatisfied.

Great Demon General did not have the support of a powerful world like Time Realm or the Angel Realm. His only support was the Original King, who was still asleep. If he were to face the Time Realm head on, it would only bring him trouble and gain him nothing.

His gaze gloomily flickered over Season and Time, and Great Demon General gritted his teeth and chose to temporarily retreat.

“Alight, you win this time. Take Great Demon God’s clones if you want, but be careful in the future. We won’t just let this slide.”

Leaving behind these fierce words, Great Demon General turned around and disappeared into the vast sky.

As they were relatively evenly matched in strength, even if Season and Time both attacked at the same time, they would not be able to keep him from leaving unless a “Supreme God” level expert beyond the Divine Realm or a king representing the will of the era takes action.

They kept their gaze fixed on the spot where the Great Demon General had disappeared for a while, before Season and Timer came back to their senses.

“Let’s go. Let’s first rescue Great Demon God’s clones. Great Demon General won’t let us leave this world so easily, so we need to move quickly.”

With closed eyes, Season searched for Majin Buu’s location, her starry eyes slightly moved as she predicted some events that were about to happen.

And just as Season said, Great Demon General wouldn’t let them leave so easily. After escaping from Season and Time, he wasted no time and went directly to the ancient temple located on the mountain cliff and with a wave of his hand, he put away the entire temple into another world.

He then looked down at the vast and boundless wilderness below, his eyes flickering as a sinister smile formed on his lips. He pinched his fingers and suddenly inserted them into the void, then imposed the imprisonment law on the entire world and triggered its destruction.

“Since you want to hinder the Original King-sama’s plan, I won’t let you leave this place easily.”

Before leaving, Great Demon General didn’t forget to create trouble for the people of the Time Realm. But he knew that the collapse of just one world was not enough to cause significant harm to them.

Looking coldly at the world falling into destruction, Great Demon General didn’t even look back as he disappeared from this world.

Meanwhile, in the underground palace, Majin Buu was still obediently suspended in mid-air. But, after a while, the battle outside affected this place, causing him to wake up from his slumber, and he looked around in confusion.

At this moment, the other Buu’s blinked in confusion, not sure what was happening outside.

“Could it be that Meifei has learned that I am trapped here and sent someone to rescue me?” Majin Buu thought whimsically. In his mind, only his good friend would be able to come to his rescue.

“Has something happened outside?”

Rumble! As if in response to the outside commotion, the entire underground palace began to shake violently. Fist-sized rocks fell from above and hit Majin Buu on the head, only to be bounced away.

Just as Majin Buu was eagerly waiting for Meifei or Xiaya to come and rescue him, two dazzling beams of light suddenly flashed before his eyes, shining brightly like the sun. They belonged to a man and a woman, both radiating a divine aura. The woman had silver hair and silver eyes, with long hair that reached her waist, while the man had golden hair and golden eyes, and was very handsome.

“It’s the Great Demon God’s clones. Let’s rescue them now.”

It was easy to recognize Majin Buu with his unique appearance, especially since there were also two other fat ones that looked exactly like the Great Demon God.

Season’s beautiful eyes scanned the surroundings, a faint smile on her face.

“Let’s move quickly. This world is about to collapse, and we need to leave before it does.”

Rescuing the Great Demon God’s clones was only one of the missions Time King gave them. After completing this mission, they had to hurry to Planet Hongshan to complete the second mission.
