Chapter 183: Muying reminiscing

As time flew by, the passing of spring signaled the imminent arrival of winter.

In the blink of an eye, it had been five years since the Saiyans moved to Planet Hongshan. In these past five years, the most remarkable change was the experiences of the Saiyans who had come from Planet Vegeta.

That year, when the Saiyans fled to Planet Hongshan in panic, their numbers were trifling—less than 15,000. However, after five years of development, and as more and more babies were born, the number of Saiyans began to rise gradually. Now, they had a population of 18,000 people. As the young children will grow up, the number of adult Saiyans will increase.

Naturally, other than the population increase, the overall strength of Planet Hongshan had also undergone earth-shattering changes.

Planet Hongshan had a lot of outstanding Saiyans who—in the past five years— had benefited from the excellent training environment on the planet and increased their strength greatly.

As the members of the 12 divisions of the Special Battle Squadron grew up, which includes Xiaya, Xiling and the others, there are currently, on Planet Hongshan, 7 Saiyans at the Super Warrior level, and 300 Saiyans at the Elite Warrior level.

Planet Hongshan’s strength had now stabilized, and they would require a special opportunity, so they could keep growing stronger in the future. Otherwise, they won’t make any more major breakthroughs.

In the boundless night sky, the stars were numerous—like beans scattered on a black screen; their glow was resplendent and crystal-clear. Starlight flickered about haphazardly, like a picture scroll slowly being unfurled.

Muying was a Saiyan who has just recently reached adulthood. His latent talent was average—just enough to be considered middle level. But, this didn’t stopped him from working hard for his future because he believes that his hard work would surely net him satisfactory results.

On Planet Hongshan, this point had already been proven many times. A lot of warriors who didn’t have good latent talents still became Elite Warriors after hard work. The great Sir Xiaya and the Saiyan hero, Mr. Bardock, were the best examples.

Both sirs latent talent couldn’t be said to be outstanding, especially Mr. Bardock, it is said that he was born as a “Low-level Warrior”, but now he was one of the few Super Warriors among the Saiyans best warriors.

Warriors were judged based on their strength and not the grade of their bloodline. Although outsiders may consider the aforementioned method of classification as simple and crude, and not practical and realistic, however different civilizations have different way of thinking. In Muyang’s view, this method was the best to judge.

Six years ago, Muyang was still quite young, only twelve years old. As he was born a Low-level Warrior, he only had battle power around 500, which was considered average amongst Low-level Warriors.

However, Muying was very fortunate that great Sir Xiaya included his family in the first group of people to transfer to Planet Hongshan.

Muying could still recall that day; it was a scorching hot noon, and the air was a little dry.

Back then, he had just returned after completing a Squad mission when his parents asked him to follow them to a hot and dry oasis on Planet Vegeta. They arrived and proceeded to wait there.

The weather was hot and the wait was boring.

However, there were a lot of Saiyans waiting around the same spot. It was as if something big was going to happen!

Muying could still clearly recall everything that happened that day. Now, thinking about it, he felt that he had been really very lucky that day.

That was the first time he saw Sir Xiaya, who was younger than him yet had extraordinary abilities. Muying had no idea what training Sir Xiaya had undergone, as before that day he hadn’t imagined that Saiyans could become so powerful.

Sir Xiaya had used a magical ability to bring everyone to their current home—Planet Hongshan.

Immediately after he arrived at Planet Hongshan, its immense gravity almost caused Muying to faint—his body couldn’t even move. It took him a long time before he could finally adapt to the pressure.

Sir Xiaya said that this was the new home of Saiyans!

When he heard Sir Xiaya’s words, Muying could only feel his doomsday approaching.

After that he began to live on Planet Hongshan.

Until, a year later, a large number of Saiyans appeared on Planet Hongshan. They brought the news that Frieza had destroyed Planet Vegeta.

When Muying heard this, he heaved a sigh of relief, and had lingering fears. Only 10,000 out of a million Saiyans escaped. Truly tragic ah!

Afterwards, Sir Xiaya publicly announced that he would gather Planet Hongshan’s Guardian Corps and train special battle squadrons. Unfortunately, at that time, Muying’s strength was too weak, so he didn’t qualify for the selection. Hence, he immersed himself in training for many years, and as a result, Muying’s Battle Power continued to rise steadily.

And just a year ago, a new opportunity appeared before Muying.

Sir Xiaya and Planet Hongshan’s top-level personnel jointly announced that they would hold a planet-wide Martial Arts Assembly in ten years and another in twenty years. The top three would receive, in addition to generous rewards, a bottle of mysterious spring water.

Although Muying had no idea what the spring water was, he still decided to firmly grasp the opportunity.

For Saiyans, pursuing honor is different from ordinary people.

There are many Saiyans who have same plans as Muying. Since the announcement, every Saiyan had been filled with a sense of urgency, so they all trained fiercely with all their strength, so they could win the Martial Arts Assembly being held in ten years!

They were Muying’s father and several uncles. They had carried out several missions together.

Muying’s father and uncle had violent temperaments, and their most favorite things to do were: drinking alcohol, eating meat, and fighting! Although they looks like messy drunkards, they became dazzling unsheathed swords when they are fighting.

“Muying, don’t just sit there and think, come over and drink together with us. Are there really Saiyans as shy as you are?” Muying’s father yelled at him when he noticed him sitting alone, lost in thoughts.

This time, after they complete this mission, they would get a generous reward which would be enough for them to be unrestrained for a period of time

Nowadays, Planet Hongshan has the support of Feidaya people in technological field, while in the economic field, Planet Bakuf’s Hoi-Poi Capsule business was getting more and more popular, gradually becoming famous in the East Area.

The Saiyans of Planet Hongshan could now afford to eat, drink and enjoy fights, whenever they wanted. The level of comfort that they enjoyed was apparent.

This couldn’t be compared to their time on Planet Vegeta.

All Saiyans, including Muying’s father, were very satisfied with their current life.

“Really? I won’t drink alcohol. I would rather spend the time training a little more!” Muying spoke solemnly.

The spaceship that they are using to carry out this mission had been bought with the commission they earned from previous several missions. The silvery-gray spaceship was the latest product of the Feidaya people. Not only was it fully equipped for living, but it also has a hibernation cabin installed. Additionally, it also has a Gravity Machine used for training. It was equivalent to a Basic-level training room that had been adjusted to 20x gravity.

It was suitable for Muying whose Battle Power had reached 5000.
