A shadow flitted beneath the blazing sun, before slamming into Zhuo Fan’s body.

He shook and coughed blood, “Senior Nether Sovereign was right. I couldn’t feel it, but my body is a wreck from senior Tyrant Emperor’s punches.”

Feeling sharp pain from everywhere, Zhuo Fan sighed.

[Those seniors went all out when it came to passing their path, going as far as killing me if they had to.]

Zhuo Fan looked at Shuang’er and her smile. Then he looked around, but all he found was Luo clansmen.

“Where are the others and Qingcheng?”

“Ruby Cloud Sect group heard of sister Qingcheng’s passing and took her body. Demonic Emperor and that He Xiaofeng didn’t even look at you as they left.”

Shuang’er smiled.

Zhuo Fan nodded. 

[Those two only care about themselves and no one else.]

[Since my soul returned, Qingcheng’s must be back as well. That He punk might try forcing himself on her after finding out she’s alive.]

[What a shame I couldn’t get rid of him in the Nether Sea.]

Zhuo Fan sighed and looked around, “Where’s Yuyu? I don’t see her.” 

“You finally think about her.”

Shuang’er squinted at him, “Sister Yuyu said she has something to do and won’t be back to the clan for a while.”

[What can she do when she isn’t even familiar with Sacred Domain?]

Zhuo Fan frowned, but gave up trying to figure it out. He knew her character and she should be fine.

“Then let’s go back. She must have her own plans.”

“Should we tell Demonic Emperor?”

“Why bother?”

Zhuo Fan’s eyes shone coldly, “I’ve earned much from the Nether Sea and will use them to advance. I don’t have time for anything else. When I come out, I’ll settle the score with those geezers, humph.”

The others nodded and looked ready to fight.

Three months later, Zhuo Fan was in a private room in the Luo clan’s manor, having entered it the minute he arrived.

Luo Yunchang and the others were left hanging, their cordial mood gone. 

Danqing Shen and the oldies nodded, “He must’ve gotten something from the Nether Sea. I should’ve went as well, ha-ha-ha…”

“Yeah, it must be something great by the looks of his hurry.”

They were envious, “My, that’s a supreme expert’s domain for you, filled with riches. The kid is so biased, taking just two girls with him to hide his strength. We really missed out…”

The others nodded.

Zhuo Fan ignored all the chatter coming from outside and set up a defensive array before sitting cross legged on the bed with eyes closed to ponder all that happened in the Nether Sea.

The Tyrant Emperor’s fist, Zhuo Yifan’s fight, the Child Sovereign’s movements, that peak Saint’s attack, and the Nether Sovereign’s final warning.

Each even flowed through his mind as his energy surged higher and higher. Yuan Qi flooded his meridians with astonishing speed, covering every nook and cranny.

Buzzing came from Zhuo Fan’s body as he released prismatic glows. The array had no way of stopping the lights, passing through them and coloring the heavens.

“What’s that?”

The chatty group outside gasped, watching the sky shining in rainbow colors. Their cries soon died out as the light fell on them and provided warmth and comfort.

Danqing Shen’s heart thumped, his voice shaky, “Please watch over me, I’m advancing!”

He rushed into his room and sat down at once to use the prismatic glow to reach the Emperor Stage.

“Curses, that’s my line!”

Murong Lie was also frantic as he went to his room, “I’m advancing too. I leave the guarding to you, brothers!”

“You think we’re any different? Let’s leave guarding to whomever feels like it, cause I won’t.” Ouyang Lingtian went as well.

“How sly, advancing by yourselves. What about us?”

“Yeah, we’re in the same boat. This is a truly rare chance we cannot miss.”

“Yeah, let’s just all advance then, and no one guards.”

All of the Luo clan in the city felt something from the prismatic glow above, their strength soaring.

None had time for anything else, whether patrolling or guarding as they vanished into their rooms to close their eyes.

The entire city of hundreds of thousands became quiet as a ghost town, with not even a breeze passing.

[What’s going on?]

Baili Jingtian, looked at the astonishing scene with a smirk, “Thunder Sword King, this is our chance. They’re all gone and Zhuo Fan has no one protecting him. Let’s go in and kill him for our empire!”

Silence was his only answer.

Baili Jingtian looked around to find Baili Yulei gone like the rest. 

“You’re also…”

Baili Jingtian raged, “As a Sword Star Empire’s Sword Kings, haven’t we been tagging with Zhuo Fan for the chance to kill him? Humph, useless! I’ll just have to do it myself!”

Baili Jingtian stomped ahead.

He only got to make two steps as his eyes glazed over under the prismatic light show. His rage faded and calm was restored.

“The grudge is fading, but why? Ah, I feel like cultivating, knowing that I’ll advance if I do. I can’t miss this chance…”

Baili Jingtian plopped down then and there to meditate.

The prismatic lights danced above over everyone’s heads, enlightening them. None of the citizens missed this chance to cultivate.

With a large explosion, a draconic cry sounded. Danqing Shen’s dragon soul soared out and shone golden alongside a three hundred meter long sword. He actually formed his Imperial Mark so soon!

His power surged wildly, growing exponentially.

He entered Emperor Stage under the prismatic light yet didn’t stop.

Following Danqing Shen were tens of other auras booming all over the town and unleashing their golden aura into the skies. Murong Lie and the others advanced as well.

Luo Yunhai and the Luo clan’s young guards reached the Spirit King Stage. Luo Sifan and the juniors jumped two whole stages, to the Genesis Stage.

Everyone was overjoyed and amazed. Even with the incredible spiritual energy of the Sacred Domain, wasn’t this still too fast?

The only explanation was the mystical prismatic light coming from Zhuo Fan’s room. They knew it had to be incredible.

Cultivating under such a light was paradise.

So they kept going despite having advanced, for the multicolored lights called to them and whispered deep secrets of the world that made their Yuan Qi soar…
