Chapter 1225: Identity Speculation

“What are you doing?” Yue Qing walked out of the room with a glass of water in his hand. He found Blake looking at his phone with a smug expression.

He did not even need to ask in detail. He could guess that Blake was angry with Jiang Li.

Blake quickly threw his phone aside and walked quickly to Yue Qing’s side. When he was about to take the glass of water, he said, “I was just curious and asked Miss Jiang about something.”

Yue Qing shook her head helplessly. Her tone was tired. “Mr. Blake, she’s my sister.”

His relationship with Jiang Li was getting better, and Jiang Li just could not accept that he was with Blake.

“What did I do that wasn’t good enough?” Blake lowered his eyes and asked aggrievedly.

Yue Qing looked at the man in front of her.

Blake was tall and handsome. He had a unique identity and status, but he kept showing weakness in front of him.

Yue Qing helplessly reached out his hand and gently scratched Blake’s chin. He walked to the kitchen and said softly, “Jiang Li is not an unreasonable person. She is not really against us being together. She is just afraid that I will get hurt.”

Blake stood at the door and watched Yue Qing’s slow movements. He said seriously, “Qing, don’t worry. I won’t let you get hurt.”

He wanted to leave all his bodyguards behind to protect Yue Qing.

Yue Qing turned around with a glass of water and faced Blake. He shrugged indifferently and said, “How can a man not get hurt? You don’t have to be too cautious. It’s good to be as usual.”

Blake agreed and walked over to hug Yue Qing. He was about to say something when he noticed the embroidery on the collar of his shirt.

It was Qing Xin’s name.

Blake’s expression twisted for a moment. The emotion called ‘jealousy’ almost drowned him.

He used to respect and yearn for Qing Xin, but he hated her so much at the moment that he wanted to erase Qing Xin from Yue Qing’s heart.

If he knew how to design clothes, he would have meticulously prepared every piece of clothing on Yue Qing.

Yue Qing grunted as Blake held him. He reached out her hand in confusion, trying to push Blake away.

“Qing, wait!” Blake closed his eyes. He did not want Yue Qing to see his expression. It must be very ugly.

Yue Qing forcefully pushed Blake away and grabbed Blake’s neck, forcing Blake to face him.

If it were anyone else, Blake would not let him go when they made such a dangerous and threatening move.

However, Yue Qing was different.

“Mmhm, you’re not in the right mood today?” Yue Qing understood Blake.

Blake would not show such an expression under normal circumstances unless something unbearable happened.

When Yue Qing reached out to touch the shirt, Blake grabbed his wrist.

Blake quickly said, “You still have work. I’ll accompany you.”

Yue Qing avoided Blake’s hand and finally touched the embroidery on the collar of the shirt. A hint of ridicule flashed in his eyes.

Blake’s face was flushed red and he was extremely embarrassed.

“Really!” Blake said firmly.

Yue Qing heaved a sigh of relief. There were many conflicts between him and Jiang Li, but it did not mean that he was willing to reveal Jiang Li’s private matters.

Since Blake had said it first, he could rest assured and continue to hide it.

“That’s good. I’ll go to work first.” Yue Qing very naturally changed the topic and turned to walk toward the study.

Blake looked at Yue Qing’s departing figure, and his face became darker and darker, and his heart began to ache.
