Chapter 342 - Not A Request!

Danny increased his speed and ran straight towards the Second prince position. Commander Iran also ran back at full speed to stop Danny. The master archer fired some arrows at Danny from atop a tree so that Iran could catch up.

Whoosh!

Danny ran into the wall of Armen soldiers, trying to confront him with shivering legs. Alex had a bronze body. His defense could not be breached by anyone with cultivation below the Elemental Gathering Realm. Danny bulldozed his way through the Armen soldiers.

Some had their shoulders shattered, some had their ribs fractured, while some had their limbs bent in weird angles after getting hit by Danny, whose impact wasn't much less of a speeding armored car.

The forest terrain made it impossible for many people to stand together; this created much space for Danny to move in and hit fewer soldiers along the way. Gradually, some of the enemy soldiers jumped out of his way on their own accord.

The only causality occurred because of the Master Archer, who completely ignored his own men's lives and fired arrows at Danny's next possible position one after another. His arrows would always miss Danny by a significant distance and hit an unlucky soldier.

The Royal guards were escorting the second prince, but they only moved a hundred meters when they heard the surrounding soldiers exclaim in horror. Two royal guards had stayed behind to try and stop Danny, but they were sent flying, with each getting a punch on their chest.

"Block him!" The second prince screamed in horror. He pushed one of the royal guards towards Danny.

The royal guard cursed the prince in his heart, but he still followed his duty and swung his sword at Danny.

"Go away!"

"...I pity you guys for having to guard such a royal prick. Move aside, and I will let you live," Danny said slowly. He immediately knew what kind of a person the second prince is after seeing his action.

The Royal guards moved to surround Danny. They might not like protecting the second prince in their heart, but their vows, honor, and the safety of their family back in the capital mattered more to them than their lives. Also, Commander Iran was about to arrive; he wasn't far behind. Blocking Danny for ten to fifteen seconds would be enough. They even saw their captain, the master archer, dashing towards them. A sword light passed through the bodies of the royal guards surrounding Danny.

Danny shook his head in disappointment as he looked at the stiffened faces of the Royal guards. He walked past them and towards the second prince unhindered. And as he did that, the Dantian formation Realm cultivators fell with an incredulous look on their faces.

The faces of Commander Iran and the master archer darkened.

The Second Prince had barely a dozen remaining men beside him. They were chopped like melon or cut like vegetables; he was the only one left standing.

He knew that if he didn't escape now, he would end up dead. But his legs stayed rooted on the ground. It felt like something was pressing his shoulders and chained his legs to the ground.

Confronting the enemy who might take his life at any minute, countenance alternated between red and white; his eyes revealed a terrified look.

"Get away from him!" Commander Iran shouted as he landed on the ground near the dismembered bodies of the Royal guards. The Master Archer also arrived and notched an arrow in his bow, aiming it at Danny's head.

Danny placed his sword on the second prince's neck. Just a little push and it would pierce right through the throat of the second prince. Fearing that, Commander Iran tried to negotiate.

"Listen to me, young hero. Do not harm him, or the whole Armen Kingdom's army will come at your doorstep. Let us end this war if that's what you want... Just hand him over to us, and we will head back to our lands." Commander Iran tried to negotiate.

The soldiers on both sides stopped fighting after being ordered by their superiors.

"Unfortunately, you all are too late. I had sent you a warning the other night. If you entered the forest, I would make the Armen Kingdom regret it." Danny scoffed. He won't let them back out just like that without bleeding them out.

"You are... Danny Glover?!" Commander Iran looked shocked. He was trying to guess the identity of Danny from the start of the battle.

"Yes. I'm Danny Glover. You will order your men to throw down their weapons and surrender. I will be taking all of you as prisoners of war. Your King will need to pay the ransom for all your lives. If he did, I would let you all go, including this little prick. . . It's not a request. I will only count to three. You say yes, he will keep his head. If you don't answer or say no, your prince's head will be rolling on the ground after three seconds, so make your decision fast... 1... 2..."

The troops under Danny raised their weapons to salute when they saw their new King ending the war so spectacularly.. They broke into a thunderous cheer.
