“She really did not have any faith in me, did she?” Staring at the back of the butterfly wings, Ye Mo shook his head.

“Brother Ye Mo, Ling Er has faith in you. Even though the Emperor is protected by the Spirit Supreme, he is still a mortal. Since you now have a god-like power like the Rising Dragon Pillar, it is not totally impossible to beat the Emperor.” Ling Er sat on the magic seal, swinging her legs.

“Actually, what is the Spirit Supreme?” Ye Mo asked.

“The Spirit Supreme is also a form of power. Once a man becomes an Emperor, he will be worshipped by his people. Their worship will condense into the Spirit Supreme, gathering the beliefs of millions of people. The reason that the Emperor can stay alive as long as the Spirit Supreme stays intact is the fact that the Emperor is the ruler of this kingdom, who is supposed to be protected. As long as there are people worshipping the Emperor, the Emperor will not exhaust or die,” Ling Er explained.

The Emperor was supposed to be a supreme being who was worshipped by millions. Coupled with the protection of the Spirit Supreme, in Tianwu Kingdom, he could be considered an immortal.

“Does that mean if I want to kill him, I have to slaughter everyone in Tianwu Kingdom?” Ye Mo was surprised.

The Spirit Supreme was too overpowered. With such protection, even if the Emperor was merely a martial artist of Spirit Cultivating Realm, he could not be defeated. The Spirit Supreme guarded him as long as he was worshipped by the people of Tianwu Kingdom. Unless everyone in the kingdom was massacred, the Spirit Supreme would not vanish.

The Yin Poison Snake was still laying there lazily. Once it detected somebody approaching, it immediately woke up, hissed, and looked around cautiously.

“Today, my strength has skyrocketed. Now I am going to make you into wine for myself!”

In the Spirit Valley, Ye Mo could fully deploy his Dragon Force. 36 streams of Dragon Force rushed towards five of his mortal gates, causing his breath to skyrocket and the land beneath him to crumble. Ye Mo launched his fist towards the snake as if he were firing a cannon.

The Yin Poison Snake glimpsed his attack, and then swept its tail at Ye Mo.

The punch, like a cannonball, smashed right through the snake’s tail with the sound of bursting steel. The enormous force threw the snake right into the air. Yet the Yin Poison Snake still managed to escape like a lightning bolt, as if it had not been injured at all.

“The defence of the Yin Poison Snake is horrifyingly strong. How can he stay uninjured after taking a hit from my fist?”

A single punch from Ye Mo could easily kill a martial artist of the Spirit Cultivating Six Realm while the Yin Poison Snake was only a beast of the Spirit Cultivating Fifth Realm. Its strength was not great but its defence was far stronger.

“Brother Ye Mo, that earthworm absorbed the toxins from the Yin Poison Grass year after year. The toxins condensed on top of its skin, forming a strong defence. I guess its body also absorbed the toxins, turning the snake into an unbeatable beast.
