Chapter 46: The Evil Spirit Cave

“Ye Mo just went into this creepy valley. Should we follow him?” The Spirit Cultivating Fifth Realm disciple asked. Ye Zhantian used to lead a team of martial artists to this particular valley, but the party never entered it, except for Ye Zhantian. It was like the whole place was struck by a typhoon, blowing everything in its vicinity away.

“What power! Brother Tianqiao, you must’ve held back when you fought Ye Mo just now, am I right?”

The four disciples went straight into the valley searching for Ye Mo.

The Rising Dragon Pillar inside Ye Mo could absorb every kind of energy there was. Even though the Evil Energy was the energy of death, it was still powerful energy to master. There were no records of where the Evil Energy came from, but it was still a type of energy the could be used.

All of the Evil Energy that had penetrated into Ye Mo’s body was instantly absorbed by the Rising Dragon Pillar.

“I wonder how many Dragon Energies I could awaken if I were to absorb all of the Evil Energy in this cave…” Ye Mo murmured. He quickened his pace and stopped in front of the cave’s entrance. The cave was filled with red Evil Energy and a huge pile of white bones was scattered around the entrance. Only lights as red as blood could be seen inside the cave as Ye Mo stood at the entrance, his blood pumping from excitement.

What treasure is lurking inside this cave? Why would it emit such an evil aura? I could feel the death, the evil, the killing intent from it! Ye Mo thought.

“Ye Mo! You’ve no place to hide now!” Ye Tianqiao shouted just as Ye Mo was about to enter the cave. Raging winds rampaged throughout the valley and blew away all the Evil Energy.

“How was my present?” Ye Mo asked as he scanned the four disciples coldly, his eyes stopping on the strongest in the party, Ye Tianqiao.

Ye Tianqiao closed his fan and said coldly, “What can a group of Wind Wolves do? There’s no place for you to run anymore, don’t even think of fleeing!”

All four of them started to close in on Ye Mo. With Ye Tianqiao who had reached the Spirit Cultivating Seventh Realm on their side, they were sure that they could kill Ye Mo right on the spot. If they could get their hands on the Formation-Breaking Spear, they could easily defeat the Yin Poison Snake and take the Yin Poison Grass.

“Follow me if you dare!” Ye Mo challenged and ran straight into the Evil Spirit Cave, disappearing into the red light.

“Is he stupid?!” The Fourth Realm disciple shouted.

“Brother Tianqiao, should we follow him? He’s not afraid of the Evil Energy in the cave,” the Fifth Realm disciple asked.

Ye Tianqiao slapped the Fifth Realm disciple and scolded, “Even the Martial Arts Division head Ye Zhantian would not even dare enter the cave. Are you that eager to meet death?”

“He’s on death’s row now. This cave is the source of the Evil Energy around here. Even True Energy Realm martial artist wouldn’t even dare to step into this cave.” Ye Tianqiao smirked. He thought that Ye Mo had ran into the cave because he had no other choices.

For thousands of years, people have come to this valley only to return empty-handed.

“It’s a pity that we can never get the Formation-Breaking Spear ever again,” the Fourth Realm disciple said.

Ye Tianqiao scanned the surroundings and noticed that the Evil Energy began to cover the whole valley again. “We’re still not sure if Ye Mo will die in there or not. Let’s retreat to the entrance and wait. We’ll go back if he still hasn’t come out after a day,” Ye Tianqiao said.

The Evil Energy began to cover the whole valley, forcing the four disciples to retreat.

They believed that Ye Mo would probably die inside the cave, but Ye Tianqiao suggested waiting a one day, just in case Ye Mo actually made it out alive.

They could tend to their injuries and return to their original states. They could also prevent Ye Mo from escaping if he miraculously survived. They still had their eyes on the Formation-Breaking Spear in Ye Mo’s possession.
