Ye Mo had grown since he left. His dark hair was long, and his face looked a little older than how it used to be. He wore a set of dark clothes. As he ran, his hair was pulled back by the wind, which exposed his forehead.

After a day of travel, Ye Mo finally reached the area that was controlled by the Pleasure Valley. Yet Ye Mo did not even stop and continued into the forest until it was too dark to wander any further. He found a clean spot and sat down. The forest was ominous as it was covered in dark, malevolent energy. Beasts of the Energy Shaping Realm roamed the forest.

“I should rest until tomorrow morning. I’ll be fine once I get out of this forest,” Ye Mo thought.

He began to meditate with his Five-Elements Energy. But after only a few minutes, he could hear someone running near him as balls of fire appeared. A few hundred huge warriors could be seen holding sticks of fire, rushing along the forest. It seemed that they were also trying to get through the forest to get to the northern region.

Barbarians! Ye Mo thought as soon as he saw them. They must’ve broken into different groups. Looks like there’s no Energy Shaping Realm warrior with them. Maybe I should kill them, just in case.

“Or maybe I shouldn’t,” Ye Mo sighed.

Most of the warriors were Spirit Cultivating Seventh or Eighth Realm warriors. Even if they tried they wouldn’t cause Ye Mo or the Xiao Clan any trouble. Just as Ye Mo was about to get back to meditating, a huge sword projection shot from the sky and slashed at the Barbarians.

“He’s stronger than your average True Energy Realm warrior,” Ye Mo thought, startled at the power shown in front him that could have destroyed a whole mountain instantly. “When will I be able to become as strong as that?”

Ye Mo was ready to leave, hoping that the energy from the Sword Projection remained. That power should be enough to scare away all the beasts roaming in the forest, making that moment the best chance to leave through.

“Cai Ling, you’re now sealed by the Beast Cuff. Stop resisting!” a voice suddenly shouted from a few meters into the forest.

Ye Mo quickly gathered 12 Dragon Energies into his mind’s Mortal Gate, making his eyesight a few times better. He could see three people walking towards him slowly.

Two men were holding a lady captive. Both her hands and legs were cuffed. She was extremely pretty. Her dark hair draped over her shoulders while her calm and pretty face showed no expression. Her beauty would definitely make it hard for any man to avert their gaze.

If she were to smile, her beauty would enchant a whole city.

The fiery-red robe she wore was still tidy, which meant the two men had yet to touch her.

“Aren’t the two of you afraid of the strong energy that suddenly appeared?” Cai Ling asked.

“Don’t scare us, City Lord,” a skinny man said. “Even if that had been the doing of a True Energy Realm warrior, he would never come to save you. Our job is done as long as we get you to the Pleasure Valley!”

“No one would dare oppose the Valley Lord. You better give up,” the other man with short hair added.

“Despicable!” Cai Ling growled.

Cai Ling was the City Lord of the Women City, a True Energy Realm warrior right out of training. She never thought that the lord of the Pleasure Valley would follow her and assault her.

Her powers were sealed by the Beast Cuff, rendering her unable to escape.

“The Valley Lord had something to attend to,” the short-haired man said with slight fear in his eyes. “That’s why he asked us to take you back to the valley first.”

Both of the men were Half-Energy Shaping Realm warrior.

“Could she be the lord of the Women City?” Ye Mo asked himself.

Ye Mo noticed a Magical greatsword underneath his feet that had been left by the Barbarians. He thought of something. He took the sword and headed straight towards the three people.

“All three of you, stop where you are!” Ye Mo roared using his Dragon Energy.

If I can save the lord of the Women City, she’ll be able to get the Goddess’s Tear for me.

The two men were shocked by Ye Mo’s sudden appearance and turned. They saw a man holding a greatsword walking towards them. They thought of the Sword Projection they had witnessed just now and were intimidated by Ye Mo.

Ye Mo looked at Cai Ling while completely ignoring the other two. He stood like a ruffian and said to the two men, “Leave. I’ve just killed a few hundreds of people, I don’t want any more bloodshed today.”

“What should we do?” the skinny man asked. Even their Valley Lord would not have been able to produce the force they’d just seen.

“Is he really a True Energy Realm warrior? Isn’t he too young?” the short-hair man replied.

“Let’s go!” The short-haired man said and gritted his teeth as he knew they would definitely perish if they were to fight with the warrior in front of them.

The skinny man could only follow the other person and leave. They knew that even a True Energy Realm warrior couldn’t destroy the Beast Cuff. They could only wait for their lord to return from the Frozen Palace and settle the matter.
