Outside the void, Hexi and Nangong Yu were relaxing in the yard of Shengde Hall in Miracle Healer City, basking in the sun.

Nangong Yu adored her expression deeply. He leaned down, kissed her forehead gently, and whispered, “My grandmother is getting on in years; there might be oversights in her investigation.”

He didn’t want to doubt Old Lady Nangong, but he had to be cautious.

“When it comes to your safety, I won’t tolerate even the slightest oversight. Xi’er, if anything were to happen to you, I can’t imagine what I might do.”

A flash of fiery red glinted in Nangong Yu’s eyes, and the aura around him seemed to turn almost demonic.

Standing not far away, Qing Long trembled all over. A trace of instinctive fear flashed in his eyes.
